Pros:

It's a good location. They have a bath which I love. Feel secure and can get to anywhere on tram. Never had to use our car all week.Will always go back there.

Dirty, old, needs a good update (heating not working, no usb charge points, dirty carpets etc) and a coat of paint.
Some staff were good others not so much.
For what we paid very disappointing, but the location was great 👍

Great Location
Pros:

What I liked and didn't like - The location was excellent, the hotel spa and pool were great, the kids loved it. The steam room was broken, however sauna was great. The main reason, I was not satisfied was there was no doona's on the beds, only one sheet and one blanket option. I've never slept in just a sheet, and when I requested more blankets for myself and the kids, the hotel could only find one extra blanket and then gave us extra bed sheets. The information I was given was that moving forward, this is how the rooms will be and there will be no additional blankets or doona's. When I moved the coffee table to put the fold out bed down, there was chips left on the carpet from the previous person staying and majority of the curtains were broken. The broken curtains was not a big deal but the lack of doona's and lack of being provided additional blankets was an issue for me. The shower head broke in the bathroom, however this was fixed straight away. I've always stayed at "Mantra" hotels and I've not experienced one where there were so many small issues. HOWEVER - the location was amazing, and the over all apartment was a great size and the bathrooms were clean, pool, spa and sauna were great. I would consider staying here again, on the condition that extra blankets can be provided.

The Security Guard Deserves a Raise

Location is fantastic. That is about it. Don't waste your money.

Absolutely shocking experience from start to finish.

Despite sending our arrival details twice for an 8pm check-in, we were given zero instructions for after-hours arrival. Reception was unattended, the intercom went unanswered, and we were left standing there until my husband finally managed to get someone on the phone.

Then came the freezing cold room during the Gold Coast cold snap. The hotel only provided thin blankets, so we ended up sleeping under bath towels just to stay warm. We requested extra blankets the next day and, unsurprisingly, nobody brought them. After another freezing night, security managed to find us a couple of sheets - the only staff member who actually tried to help.

Checkout was just as embarrassing. The receptionist sat on her phone with earphones in, barely acknowledged us, took the key, and went straight back to scrolling. Oh and I did email the hotel asking to assist, and you guessed it - no response!

Terrible service, terrible communication, and zero care for guests. Read the reviews and believe them. I’m sure an automated AI response will appear under this shortly like every other complaint.

Great position, could walk to casino & pacific fair . Self contained unit, had everything we needed, lovely view. Very impressed

great location for a GC break
Pros:

Good sized apartment in central location to tram, beach, eateries and shopping

Cons:

Bed uncomfortable with two beds pushed together. Internet weak so hard to watch TV. Noisy roadside. Air con not working well and fan in bedroom to compensate hardly worked.
