This is by far our favourite hotel in Southport Staff fantastic as is the bar and breakfast Everything is lovely
just unlucky with my side of bed but for one night it was ok we booked a V room at the back of the hotel rather than the front room overlooking Lord St
From the moment we pulled up the service was excellent, we dropped our keys off for them to park our car. Room was lovely and finished to a high standard with everything you need and the bed was super comfortable. We had a few drinks in the bar too. All staff were very friendly we would stop again.

Breakfast is exceptional. Continental offering is possibly the best I’ve seen in any hotel. All cooked items are hot and delicious. Rooms are beautifully decorated and very clean.
My room had a very deep step in (over) shower that could be problematic if you have mobility issues.
Most everything was great the stuff were knowledgeable and professional.
There was just one thing that annoyed me was the USB port never worked
Good location. The bed was very comfortable and the room was a really good size with White Company products in the bathroom. Dinner in the restaurant was good with a range of choices.
I have stayed here many times and always had a good experience but there were a few issues this time that were disappointing;
Chipped mug on the tray in the bedroom
The bedside shelf was sticky and hadn't been cleaned
One of the cushions on the bed had stains on it
Awkward to put water into the kettle as the bathroom sink was too small - I had to pour water in by the glass
These are things that don't give a good impression to guests but are easy to correct!
Location was. As always fab, right on Lord Street and near some fabulous eateries
Breakfast was not worth it, we got down at 8:35 and there was no fruit, just a few shabby pieces of apple, only 3 yogurts, the egg was dry and the coffee was beyond strong. Every time we have been before- we’ve stayed at least 4 times before too. it’s been spot on today was not one of those occasions.
We never consider anywhere else when staying im Southport. The staff are all so friendly and helpful the rooms are spotless and there's so much choice for breakfast.

The friendly reception and comfortable room with a view over Lord Steet.
The valet parking worked well. There is a drop off parking space. Guests can request their car giving 5 or 10 minutes notice, then a team member from reception will bring it round to the front.
We enjoyed lunch in the restaurant, which has a good reputation in Southport. The buffet breakfast was also good.
Nothing to dislike.
