Modern well appointed hotel with nice bar and good restaurant.
The hotel is comparably good value for money.
Excellent location on Lords street was easy to find. Staff friendly and helpful. Top notch breakfast.
On Street parking can be a problem, though they do offer valet parking at a price.
I don’t like the bath / shower setup as bath sides are high and hard to get out of if you are not full fit or older.
Bed was comfy
We stayed at The Vincent on Saturday 14th February, having booked a V Corner Studio room via Booking.com for what was meant to be a rare night away.
Unfortunately, we were disappointed with the room provided. The room was advertised as including a bath; however, there was no bath in the room. In addition, it was described as having a city view. Whilst I appreciate that Southport is not technically a city, the view from our room was not what most would reasonably consider a “view” and does not reflect how the room is being marketed. Photos attached.
I did raise this with reception during our stay to confirm that we had been allocated the correct room and was advised that we had. And I have since written to the hotel in response to an email asking about our stay and haven’t heard anything back.
Given that the room did not match the description under which it was sold, we were left very disappointed.
My partner and I liked how they gave our baby daughter plenty of attention, the food was nice but very expensive, the room was clean and tidy and the bed was very comfortable, the staff for e.g Emily on reception with Carl and A. J, and the maintenance guy called Ricardo was very helpful and friendly.
The money I paid for the room and the TV kept on clinching all night the first night and the Internet was very poor for e.g constantly switching off, so we had to buy a amazon fire stick just to watch TV... I spoke to the GM about this and all he could say was that we can check out if we want
Simply brilliant
One word excellent. I will definitely be back
Quiet
Pleasent staff
comfortable bed
Disabled facility room .
Bathroom,
" Faults found were no seat for walk in shower dangerous lack of saftey rails in bathroom around shower and bathroom floor smooth and very slippery when wet "
However the supply small floor towel to place on the floor does not solve problems and is at best a minor help .
room air con unit wasnt working
Great Breakfast and its ideally located shower warm..
Online booking wasnt very clear felt the 50 pounds deposit was a bit much.Gym could be better..
Surprised at having to pay 20 pounds for someone to park my car.
Our room was exceptionally clean and comfortable with everything needed for a lovely stay. The staff were all friendly and helpful.Te food is of high quality with an unusual choice of dishes a la carte.
Very picky but the television was quite small and picture quality a bit hit and miss. Other than that no complaints whatsoever. The restaurant prices can be quite high but reflected in the quality and quantity of the food.
Everything! Will definitely be coming back
Excellent hotel and staff. Couldn’t have been better.
Location was perfect, very central. Valet parking was great. Every member of staff was friendly and professional. Breakfast was great. Fridge in room was handy.
Only downside to the hotel is that the lighting is poor in the rooms. Difficult to put make up on (a shock when you get in the lift ha ha) and difficult to read in room. Even bedside lights weren't bright enough to read.
The location was excellent across the road from main High Street. We had a disabled access room, wet room was huge and lovely powerful shower. All staff so lovely and helpful from the Door man, receptionist, bar and restaurant staff. Couldn't do enough for us.
Nothing I didn't like, heating wasn't working in our room but the problem was easily fixed, was giving the choice to move rooms or provided a heater we choose heater because it was late in evening.
The location was so central, and the staff were helpful.
Super comfortable bed and large bath to soak in
The gym was limited, but other than that, the hotel was great!
