Comfortable, clean and welcoming with great aircon!
Pros:

Quiet location with easy parking, welcoming staff and beautifully presented facilities. A sparkling gem in Barnstaple!

Cons:

Breakfast service was 7-9 a.m which was a bit restrictive

très bel hôtel face à un parc. Très contents du partenariat avec un autre hôtel qui a 2 piscines.
Pros:

Très bel hôtel, chic. Chambre très agréable, propre et bien aménagée. Petit déjeuner très copieux, servi en buffet et servi à table. Les meilleurs viennoiseries qu'on ait mangées !
La 1ère chambre qui nous a été attribuée n'avait pas l'air conditionné. Nous avons pu en changer. Nous étions très contents.
L'hôtel propose un partenariat avec un autre hôtel qui a 2 piscines chauffées. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié.

Very poor and would not stay there again.
Cons:

The staff were not truthful. I asked for a fan because it was extremely hot. She lied saying she would arrange it and never did. She said she would get me another room, that didn’t come to fruition either.

A lovely comfortable, bright, clean and quiet hotel well located for the area.
Pros:

The two rooms I booked were comfortable, very clean and quiet. The single room also had air conditioning which was needed in the very hot weather. The staff were great and the bar and restaurant area well designed and inviting.

Cons:

The small double in the Garden Suite was in the eves and didn’t have air conditioning which made it incomfortable in the very hot weather. A fan was provided which was helpful.

Stay in the main building
Pros:

Nice clean hotel. Great location.

Cons:

The park rooms in the annex have no A/C. So was very hot in the heatwave. Also the hotel would not honour local discounts as we booked through a third party.

I'm definitely going back!
Pros:

Staff went out of their way to assist me, as I have a mobility handicap, opening doors, etc. Their help was much appreciated after a tiring journey.
Everyone was friendly, polite and hospitable as a friend might be.
The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was big and clean.

Cons:

My stay was too short. Wish I could've stayed a bit longer.
