My wife and I stayed at the hotel for four nights in late April, and overall, we had a very enjoyable stay. I’d happily return in the future.
Our room was bright, airy, very clean, and had a lovely partial sea view from the balcony. It was also nice and quiet at night, which made for a very relaxing stay. The room included a small fridge, and we were given a complimentary bottle of water each day, which was a thoughtful touch and very handy.
The hotel itself was very well maintained and had a modern feel throughout. The location was also good — around a 10-minute walk to the beach and a little further to the port area. There was also a Lidl only about five minutes away, which was convenient. The pool was not heated, so in April it was quite cold, and there was occasionally some duck poo around the pool area, which could have been cleaned more regularly.
The staff throughout the hotel were excellent — always friendly, approachable, and willing to help.
As we were staying half board, we were offered a small upgrade for €5 each per evening, which allowed unlimited wine and beer with dinner. It sounded like a good idea in theory, but we found it quite difficult to get good value from it, as you were realistically only eating for around an hour. Drinks could, however, be taken away from the restaurant to the bar or back to the room to be finished, which was a nice touch.
The breakfast selection was very good overall, with plenty of hot and cold options available each morning. The only slight disappointment was the early breakfast arrangement. As we were due to be picked up between 8:00 and 8:30 on our departure day, we asked whether we could have breakfast a little earlier, but were told the latest available time was 6:15, which felt unnecessarily early. The alternative cold breakfast option provided was also quite limited, despite much of the full cold selection already being set out. A few guests were advised to only take from the smaller selection, which came across as a little overly strict.
The evening food was generally enjoyable, although a bit more variety between the dishes would improve the experience further. Several meals across different nights had very similar flavour profiles and sauce bases. For example, the Chicken Tikka Masala served on our final night lacked the usual creamy flavour you would expect and tasted quite similar to other dishes served earlier in the week, with a strong peppery, paprika-heavy sauce. The desserts were similar as well — although they all looked different, many of them tasted much the same. While the quality of the food was still good overall, a little more distinction between dishes would make the evening dining feel more varied and memorable.
Overall, though, we had a lovely stay, felt well looked after, and would certainly consider returning, although we would probably eat out more often and only use the restaurant in the evening when we wanted a quieter night.

We had a fantastic stay at the Bordoy Alcudia in late March.

The hotel was modern, clean and well-equipped and the staff were very friendly and attentive. We stayed all inclusive, and the food and drink choices were both great.

Definitely one we intend to go back to.

The staff are brilliant. Work very hard and very attentive. Hotel and room excellent. Entertainment was good but seating wise was a little tight. The
only reason I have marked it down one star because the week we stayed the hotel was monopolised by a huge group of Hikers. They were half board unlike us all inclusive. Breakfast and evening meals were hectic but they had reserved seating. We couldn’t get a seat in the EVENING until after 8.15pm . Hence that gave us a knock on effect as the entertainment started at 8.30 pm. We were there for a week but unfortunately towards the end of our week the Hikers left but another huge group arrived. Might be best to check out if this continues through the summer before booking. Otherwise the hotel would have got an Excellent from us.
Why did they need reserve seating in the evenings?? They weren’t going out after dinner.

Hotel was well located being a short walk to the coast and about 20 mins from the busier front. It was very clean and all the staff were great. The pool area is nice although it was too cold when we went to get in (April).
The food was a good standard with plenty of it. The only negative would be the spa area, it's very small and a bit tired. Although, if it's nice weather why would you be inside.

Very clean hotel, staff are amazing and friendly, food is very good and lots of choice daily, would go back again.

We can’t comment on most of the services offered by the Hotel as this was a cycling trip and we were out every day. What we can comment on however is the service of the staff-they were all brilliant and very helpful and obliging especially the restaurant staff who all worked tirelessly. Special mention goes to Alberto and Ricard who were excellent in providing a first class customer experience-they along with the rest of the staff are an asset. The food was varied and tasty.
The only 2 small negatives are the room got very warm at night and the air con is operated centrally and wasn’t due to be switched on during our stay. Also we were in a room over the kitchen/dining room and the kitchen fans woke us up early mornings with the noise & cooking smells especially as we had to keep the patio window open due to no air con.
Otherwise a lovely stay

Our stay at Bordoy in April-May 2026 exceeded our expectations. The hotel had a calm feeling to it. Everywhere was very clean (the housekeeping team are very attentive).

We were pleasantly surprised by the food especially given some recent negative reviews. We found there was always a good selection of freshly cooked meats/fish and a variety of salads available. We did half board which we found to be excellent value.

The indoor sauna, gym and jacuzzi was a nice addition to the pool outside. The location of the hotel is ok with it being near a Lidl and around a 10 minute walk to the beach. We had no issues storing bikes on our balcony.

Only negatives were that despite there being ample sunbeds, people reserving them meant it wasn't always possible to get one. This was not addressed by the staff. Additionally, there were around 20 sunbeds reserved for 'premium rooms', yet they were always empty.

The hotel was spotless, staff were all lovely. Rooms and beds very comfortable. The 2 singers who entertained us on different nights were fabulous (especially Bruno mars ). Bar staff were all great. Now the negatives:,the room design (although lovely) were not designed with practicality in mind ,lack of storage, especially in the bathroom. Now the food ,although it was nice enough food it did get rather repetitive, think we had pork 3 nights in a row. Some of the food stations only kept the food luke warm. After those 2 negatives have to say we enjoyed our holiday immensely, the staff are the sparkling lights ( shout out to basel). Would return if the food went up a notch.
