Peaceful. Inland from coast and highway which was only 15 minutes walk away.
I did tell the hotel but the shower screen wasn't fitted correctly so the bathroom floor got soaked every time. I also asked for a decent carving knife as the utensils were basic. So don't expect to cook much in the kitchenette. It was handy for breakfast and snacks .
The gym was locked so no idea what was in there
No shower in the courtesy room if you needed one at the end of your stay. I was told to use the pool shower which didn't have hot water .
Location, pool.
No complimentary tea/coffee/milk or even a small bottle of water in the fridge. Very poor quality towels .Water from shower leaked into bathroom and bedroom. Very limited toiletries. Payment of £190( 1 night stay) in advance and then on arrival had to pay an extra 150 US dollars I presume to cover any damage.. Still waiting for reimbursement.
Honestly what a gorgeous gem in Holetown. At first reading reviews I had my doubts before we came but I can 100% say please ignore any negative comments about this place. If you want a peaceful, open spaced, chilled laid back environment for a holiday in Holetown, you’ve chosen the right place.
The staff are so welcoming, accommodating and friendly. Anything you need or questions you may have, they’re so happy to help.
We had breakfast at the apartment every day and went out for lunches and dinners. Asia Spice the on-site restaurant is SO GOOD!! We ate there twice, and had the barbecue twice on Monday evenings.
Lunches were lovey too.
We would recommend that the rooms get fitted with a coffee maker, and maybe a freestanding fan in the gym, otherwise everything was perfect. You’re a 15 minute walk from Massy, a big grocery store where you can get anything you need, and lovely restaurants near by. Our favourite beach was Payne’s Bay when we wanted to mix it up from the poolside.
Highly recommended.
Just arrived back from All seasons Europa, after a blissful stay for a week, after a cruise. Bungalows are a home from home. Fridge. Kettle, toaster, cooker. Pots & pans, cutlery, iron, ironing board, hair dryer. Temperature was reaching 30 degrees, so A/C, in bedroom & fan, was ideal. Large bathroom with walk in shower. Enough room for wheelchair. Check in, reception staff were helpful. Room 28, was not ready on our arrival from cruise ship, so had enough time to walk to Massey supermarket, to get essentials. Milk, Water, Banks beer. Early closing Sunday 4pm. Shuttle bus was used once to return with shopping. Weekdays. Doesn't run at weekends. Asian Spice restaurant on site, is excellent. Indian chef, so very Authentic. Vegetarian Biryani is colourful, hot, spicy. Samosas & Onion bhaji's, very nice with a Banks beer. Service has slow vibes. Gardens are neat & tidy. Very green. Lots of birds & monkeys on patrol. Nature's environment. In all , good friendly staff at this hotel, with good amenities.
We just returned from our fourth stay at the All Seasons Resort Europa, and it never fails to impress. This trip was extra special as we were traveling with two other couples to celebrate a 60th birthday, and the resort provided the perfect backdrop for such a memorable occasion.
For a group celebration, the rooms are incredibly large. Having so much storage and a well-kitted-out kitchen made it easy for us to host drinks together before heading out. It truly feels like a home away from home, which is exactly why we keep coming back.
As always, the reception staff were polite, professional, and went above and beyond to ensure our group had everything we needed. The room service remains excellent, maintaining the high standards we’ve come to expect over the years. The grounds are beautifully kept, and we were delighted to see monkeys and birds visiting almost every single day.
The pool is a great size and was usually fairly empty, so our group always found space to relax together. For dining, we highly recommend the on-site Indian restaurant; the food is consistently very good. The location is wonderfully quiet, yet you are just minutes away from the vibrant bars and restaurants of Holetown. The shuttle bus to the shops is a lifesaver, and it’s a very manageable 10-15 minute walk to the Massy Supermarket.
Having stayed here four times now, we can safely say this is a gem of Barbados. It was the perfect place to celebrate a 60th birthday with friends. We’re already looking forward to stay number five!
Good position of our room was good. Nice view from Veranda. Good size pool.
Lack of toiletries. Was expecting more.
Staff were lovely
Living area no air con but wasn’t too bad.
Great location, friendly staff and helpful. Rooms very clean
Lovely staff at reception and nice quiet location
The shower in our room was very weak
Good clean site. Always staffed for help or advice.
Bungalows spacious good air conditioning in the bedroom & good storage. Plenty of hot water and good shower pressure.
Linen and bedding serviced twice during our 10 day stay towels as often as required.
Kitchen minimal equipment oven was old as was the toaster could do with updating as could some fixtures in the bathroom.
Would have loved a brolly over the sunloungers set outside our bungalow.
Pleasant outlook into garden area small bar and onsite restaurant which we never used as so much choice in Holestown which is a short 15 minute walk.
Had to call maintenance when we first arrived but issues were quickly dealt with.
A lovely quiet position and we would revisit.
Walking distance to the beach and shopping.
Some of the staff were really friendly. The restaurant staff were really nice and one of the front desk staff, she was very pleasant (the older person). There was one particular person at the front desk, I did not get her name but she was awful. She really needs to get some customer service training. I can’t be paying my money to stay at a place where the staff has a behavior like that.
There wasn’t one thing we didn’t like about our stay here. Would definitely return here if back in Barbados. Even although full and high season the place was quiet with no rush for loungers. It was central for restaurants and the big supermarket is about a 15 min walk away. A small beach a 10 min walk away was sublime. No one was ever on it. The reception staff should get a special mention for the friendliness and helpfulness. .
The space in the rooms were great. The proximity to the quiet beach and the resort do not feel busy despite being full.
The location was great. Easy walking distance to shops and dining at Holetown and also not far to the beach.
The room was simple and clean, and the kitchen amenities were adequate.
Staff were very helpful and friendly.
We would recommend that simple items be added to the kitchen. Salt, pepper, sugar, coffee filters, tea, etc.
Overall it was a comfortable stay and good value.
The staff was friendly. Good location.
Living room area was hot no ac.
Bed was old and uncomfortable. Very very very uncomfortable.
No television in the bedroom.
Stove need upgrading.
Arrived today. We have been to Barbados a few times, this is by far our worst experience.
Pros: none
Cons:
Rude front desk staff
We asked for 2 room keys and were rudely told no, it's their policy to only provide one.
They say there's a shuttle to the beach and supermarket, BUT, in reality there's no shuttle on the weekends and during the week it runs only twice a day.
The room is very hot, no AC in the living area.
Almost no outlets to charge devices.
They say it's 3 star resort, not even 2 star.
They say it's a short walk to the beach but it's not.
Tiny toiletries, about an ounce, so bring your own.
It's so bad that we rebooked our flight to leave so we can leave early.
We requested a coffee maker in advance and when we arrived,we were told that they may not have one, it not a guarantee even if you request one. They did bring us one.
We have been to many Caribbean resorts and this is by far the worst.
Don't waste your money and time!!
We had a fabulous time at All Seasons. Despite it being high season the resort being full it was really quiet and plenty of sun beds and hardly anyone in the pool. We found all the staff very friendly and supremely helpful. The reception staff deserve a special shout out as they were always chatty and smiling. Our room was great. Spacious with all we needed in it. Enjoying the air con in the bedroom. They looked liked they’d maybe had a refit quite recently with a modern shower. The bed was really comfortable. Having an ironing board and iron in the room was good too. We dined at the restaurant one night and the food was delicious.
It is a short walk (10 mins) to a small secluded beach. About 10-15 mins walk to the local restaurants and Massys supermarket. We cannot wait to return.
