A lovely hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful and the everywhere was very clean. The riverside rooms have a beautiful view, very tranquil. We had dinner and breafast, both were very good.
Stunning rooms!
Nothing we have been back as loved it each time
Second stay at this location and not been disappointed each stay. Used this location as close to RHS Wisley and had my parents with us, dad who is now 90 trained at Kew but also did work at Wisley. Dad and mum had ground floor room no7 with facilities for those with mobility issues and they very happy with room only comment bed could have been slightly higher up for them for getting in and out.
Wife and I room 102 river view lovely room no problem with room or facilities, nice cooler with good selection of goods. Parking ample,.
Food was very good, staff very helpful no long waits, good selection of drinks nice menu.
Breakfast was good, coffee, tea etc plentiful, nice selection of continental style items and good range of hot which was delivered in timely style.
Would definitely use again.
Booked and ate dinner in the bar/restaurant. Good ambience, helpful staff. Good food and choice.
Room was on the ground floor. Average/good size. Lovely walk-in shower. Bed comfy.
Perfect stay for our 1 or 2 night visits when attending rugby at Twickenham.
Easy access onto the M3 to travel back to Devon the next morning.
Nothing
My wife and I spent a Saturday night here for a friend’s big birthday bash As we returned extremely late we were very happy with the room. It was comfortable and quiet.
When cleaving we left an umbrella in the room and got a call from reception 3 minutes after leaving to alert us, so thanks you for this.
Regrettably, the stay was let down by the breakfast. It took half an hour to receive our order (the restaurant was not busy) and when it arrived it was not good. Bacon was 50% fat, mushrooms rubbery, my wife’s scrambled egg greasy tomatoes unpleasant and the hash brown dry as a desert. Shame really.
Comfortable bes and room, good reception staff
Poor breakfast. . It took half an hour to receive our order (the restaurant was not busy) and when it arrived it was not good. Bacon was 50% fat, mushrooms rubbery, my wife’s scrambled egg greasy tomatoes unpleasant and the hash brown dry as a desert.
Nice room, comfy bed
Food very poor
Location beautiful hotel friendly staff
Cleaned and looked after well. Great service and very friendly staff. An ideal location to stay at if visiting Thorpe Park. The value for money is spot on
Nothing really, only that the isolator inside the bathroom was quite loud but didn’t really affect our stay
Lovely room overlooked the river. Clean and comfortable.
Location. Whilst it was by the river, it was also right next to a very busy road, so wasn't a tranquil experience.
Clean tidy modern quiet tidy friendly
It was all great
Location, price, comfort, very friendly helpful staff, comfortable rooms, one thing that stood out by a mile was the food the chefs there really know how to use very good produce its incredible how good the food is, just 10 mins from thorpe park its perfect
Just one thing and its me being picky but we had a room over looking the river so the pub below's beer garden was right outside the room it was a beautiful spring day when we went so everyone was enjoying themselves till late but again thats not the hotels fault
Large riverside Youngs pub with smart, clean rooms (worth paying a little extra for a river view). Plenty of outdoor tables next to the inlet (not the river itself, though that is in sight). Food is of a good pub standard and sensibly priced (by current standards). Friendly, helpful staff. Large free car park. Altogether, an enjoyable short stay within easy reach of the M25 and Heathrow.
Loved the pub, restaurant and the quality of the rooms.
Noisy corridors and early morning cleaning.
Not much
The bedroom walls was scruffy, marked and scuffed walls, dirty windows, filthy stained divan base
