Pros:

Spacious room and well kept

Cons:

The toilet would not flush and maintenance said I wasn't holding flushing properly. After the 5th call they realized a part needed to be replaced but i was already checking out

This hotel is an exceptional bargain
Pros:

We made the reservation during some downtime in our hotel in Arcadia, CA. After making the reservation I did a search of Trip Advisor reviews of this Homewood Suites hotel. I read the reviews in order from most recent. The reviews made for some of the most hysterical reading I have done in some time. Since the reviews were so opposing I thought I should comment based on my realty. First, the hotel is definitely showing some signs of age. This is not a bad thing if you accept that things age and that if those aging things are well cared for they retain their value. Such is the case with hotel. It is very clean and very well maintained. Our 1 bedroom suite was very clean and there was no mold, hairballs, or dirt in any of the rooms. The fridge and freezer were immaculate, as was the microwave. The mattress was a standard Hilton King and was as comfortable as any I have experienced in any Hilton property. The sheets and pillow cases were obviously recently laundered. I found no sticky brown stuff on the sheets. Both TVs functioned correctly. In all, I found nothing really wrong with the property or room. This place is a fantastic value in a wonderful location off the strip. The staff was very friendly and outgoing. Finally, if you have read a number of reviews of this hotel you have probably encountered references to a desk attendant named “Debby”. Well, to set that record straight, I found Debby to be a very nice and outgoing person. After conversing with her for some time, I find it hard to believe this woman could be rude or vulgar even if she wanted to be.

Loved it, would totally stay here again.
Pros:

Breakfast was excellent. My kids talked about it for days afterwards. The pool was nice and clean. I liked how the buildings provided the pool with complete shade in the late afternoon. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable. The towels were nice and thick. Overall, was very happy with my choice to stay here and i feel like i got great value for my money.

Cons:

The ONLY negative i could say is that the hotel had a slight odor to it. I chalk that up to being a pet friendly hotel. But the whole hotel felt very clean so i think it's fine.

The room is specious but poor quality of breakfast

Cons:

The shuttle driver lacked basic courtesy. The demand of questioning felt racially motivated and made me feel completely unwelcome. She even interrupted and let me wait long time while I was checking in with another staff manager.
