Fantastic location, staff are very professional and friendly. The hotel is very well situated on the outskirts of the town centre. River view spectacular!
Overall very happy with our stay, the room was a good size and the bed was very comfy. Shower room good, modern & very clean. The pillows do need to be upgraded though as they are very flat and the carpet in our room was heavily stained. Quite a cold draught from the patio doors so we had to keep the curtains closed during the day as was quite cold. No fresh fruit at breakfast was disappointing, although the food offered was very good quality and plentiful. No full length mirror in the room was a surprise.

Bed
Food, cleanliness of the hallway and communal areas
Staff were very attentive and helpful. The room was large and could see the River from the bedroom window. Dinner in the evening was very good and the breakfast was also very good standard. Would of been nice to have tea & coffee brought to the table. The views from the restuarant over the river are stunning.
The bar area was a little lacking in atmosphere, needs a re think to get guests to enjoy more.
I had limited interaction with the staff but those that I did speak to were very personable and friendly.
The shower (over the bath) was easy to use and provided good power, easy to adjust the flow and water temperature.
I had a single room which although practicle was somewhat small. Just minor things like no wardrobe (just a row of hooks), the bathroom door opened towards the sink and had to be closed each time in order to use it (cramped), The air conditioning unit seemed to be set in one mode & didn't adjust (maybe it was just me and the control box falling out?).
No bedside light.
The windows of the room were overlooked - so the blinds for the bathroom were permanently in use, and the heavy curtains for the room were drawn across most of the time.
