That view
Absolutely nothing
Clean, quiet, comfortable , spacious. Lovely bedlinen
Nice staff
Internet a little weak
Slightly dated decor but I'm not going to complain about that because price was so reasonable and everything else was very good
Location was great and bed was comfortable
In obvious need of some tlc. Rooms and hotel in general look dated and despite seeming clean there are lots of old marks of the walls etc
Lovely hotel, great location beside the river with parking. It was clean, comfortable & has A/C. Staff were lovely & so helpful. Nice bar & outside seating. Didn't eat so cannot comment.
The WiFi signal is quite weak if that is important to you.
Hotel location, hotel view, room size, breakfast
Parking was not easy to find at nights let alone it was chargeable. No elevator made it hard to go to 2nd floor and move luggages
Fantastic location. Comfortable bed, air conditioning a bonus and very clean. Staff very helpful and friendly. Good breakfast choice.
Paid car parking fee of £10.00 per night but not guaranteed a parking space. There are at least 2 accessible rooms( which are a blessing when having mobility issues) but only 1 disabled bay available, never available during my stay as same car used all weekend.
It was located by the river. Great view in the restaurant
Room was dated and my window opened up onto the air conditioning unit
Excellent location breakfast plentiful room just hotel was very tired. We had damp blistered walls and leak in bathroom. Staff were very polite and attentive and hotel smelt lovely and clean just tired and needed a paint
A room without crusty blistered paint
The location is lovely with great river views and outside seating area to make the most of them.
The staff were friendly, there was a reasonable choice of options at breakfast.
I was able to park but would have liked to have had the security of pre-booking a space.
Air conditioning was good in the room allowing a quite night sleep.
There were multiple plug sockets and they were in useful places.
The shower didn't have anything to prevent slipping which could be risky for some. Also nowhere within the cubicle to put ones own shampoo etc.
I liked the room it was a good size for what we needed and it was very clean, the minimal staff they had were very nice and helped where ever they could, the food was nice
When we arrived we managed to squeeze in to one of the parking spaces on the grounds thankfully we found that as we wouldnt have known where we could park, the reception wasnt manned as only one member of staff was doing both reception and the bar we pressed the bell and was ignored, we were not warned of the amount of narrow stairs there would be and doors which were a struggle to open carrying cases, we finally got up to our room which was basic only to find we only had one towel and minimal amount of tea milk and sugar, the pillows were so flat we needed to ask for more which the hotel were happy to provide but calling reception from our room was pointless as there was no one there to answer it, the bathroom was adequate but there was no privacy from the windows we had to keep the blinds closed,
In the bedroom area we could hear pigeons scratching around by our air-conditioning vent which was not pleasant,
The riverside terrace and bedroom was clean and nice
Bit tired in places
Room very soacious
Windows covered in cobwebs outside. No fridge.
Convenient location to Maidenhead and excellent public transport
