Hotel Villas Lirio

The hotel was fine…everything was as the pictures and staff were great.

The room: it was a little smaller than what we expected but not a real issue. It seemed clean but we found 2 cockroaches.

The place: We knew the property was in front of the main road but did not expect it to be as noisy as it was. If you are a light sleeper, maybe this is not the best place to stay.

The garage: Finally, we saw as a great plus that the place had its own gated parking, but when we arrived, someone was blocking the entrance. Not only that, the garage is more of a creepy event room that is being used as parking. It has several columns inside which makes it hard to maneuver.

Our stay at Hotel Lirio was truly unforgettable! While it’s not a five-star hotel, the service made it feel like it was. Donald and Nicole were very helpful they treated us like family and went above and beyond to make our trip special. The hotel has a charming hacienda-style vibe, with a beautiful pool right in the middle surrounded by lush gardens. My kids practically lived in the pool, and I loved relaxing nearby while soaking in the peaceful atmosphere. Our room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was fresh and delicious each morning, and the location was perfect for exploring the area while still feeling like a quiet retreat. We left with full hearts and can’t wait to return!

Nicely maintained, good housekeeping, nice pool and pool area. The only complaints I would make are that the rooms were hot (no AC and ceiling fans that didn’t circulate air well) and that the dining room staff wasn’t super on point. But overall, good stay.

The hotel was probably nice a decade or two ago but there has clearly even no upkeep. It looked really cute online but the grout is coming out of the tiles and it seemed to be in general disrepair. The elevator was broken (which looking at other past reviews it has been broken for months). The lady at check in was lovely. Breakfast was lukewarm so after taking one bite we didn’t eat it and stuck with bread and fruit. The staff in the restaurant didn’t clear tables so it was difficult finding a place to sit. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

Perfect stay in the center of Manuel Antonio! Would be back!

Beautiful room with a jungle like campus. Unfortunately parking was very difficult and required employee assistance each time. Elevator was broken, clean swimming pools decent breakfast. Friendly staff at the front desk.

I really like this property. Layout of the rooms, pool, and restaurant were well thought. The location is across the street from a food court, seafood restaurant, and supermarket. It is a short drive down the hill to Manual Antonio NP.

Beautiful gardens. Restaurant was beautiful and took advantage of the lush gardens. Food was very good and reasonable. We faced the smaller pool and had it to ourselves (due to being there off season) but was an added bonus. We would recommend this hotel

Our room was situated right beside the pool which was great for our 2 young boys. Parking was easy with lots of space. Rooms and common areas were clean. Area is walkable for food, coffee, supermarkets and souvenir shops. Short drive to Manuel Antonio park and beaches. Would definitely stay again!

Beautiful room that over looked a pool on one side and a tropical garden in the other side. No ocean views, but the pool was wonderful to cool off after all our excursions. The seating area was covered and we sat out there when it rained and it was lovely.

This hotel is an oasis but close to town and all the restaurants and shops. Very tranquil at night. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast buffet was delicious. The landscaping and grounds were beautiful. I will stay here again!

Good trip overall. The front desk staff are pretty friendly and rooms well maintained.

Nuce property. The pool was heated which we appreicated as some other properties in CR were not heated. The breakfast was included and was excellent - they had a buffet selection of hot foods and continental items.

The breakfast buffet is perfect. The pool area is too noise at evening time. Parking in the garage is not easy.

Beautifully landscaped, quiet and hidden oasis property off the busy road. Easy walk to several stores and supermarket. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, friendly staff and the restaurant was pretty and delicious.
Charming hotel in Manuel Antonio!

We really enjoyed the hotel!! Our room was fantastic. Roomy and a great air conditioner. We ate at the restaurant every night we were there. Food was fantastic and the staff excellent! I would totally recommend this hotel!!!

My room did not have a key only lock was through the sliding door entrance which did not work well, it was very difficult to lock. When I asked for a change of room they were rude and just told me they were all booked which was not the case. Staff was very unhelpful. Bad service for the price.

Excellent hotel with great pool and beautiful garden. Need to drive 10 minutes to beach at Manuel Antonio and not really walkable.
Good restaurants close to hotel and easy access to National Park.
