Rooms are clean with great balcony views of the slopes on one side and Mont Blanc on the other.

My family truly enjoyed our stay in Araucaria. The location was superb, the room was comfy and clean, the food was terrific (breakfast and dinner), the atmosphere was great. It's a lovely place for the families. I would definitely return.

Would love to see a big improvement with the food more of a selection for kids, everything else was amazing. Unfortunately there was no windows to open in our room but we could deal with that.

Magnifique séjour

Araucaria is located in a nice spot right at the core of Plagne Centre. You can easily access by foot the main lifts (requiring a bit of walking though - it is not a pure ski in / ski out as I've experienced elsewhere). It was nicely conceptualised taking advantage of a not-so-big building but including all needed services - warm common area, spa, buffet restaurant, ski shop. However, I felt the hotel was not being managed up to the standards it was built. Service was ok but not exceptional - I do not remember a wow moment when I felt the staff went beyond what was expected. The restaurant was nicely designed, with attractive food stations, but sometimes the food was not very good. As an example, fruit choice at breakfast and dinner was very poor. We had a family room which was large enough and nicely designed but it was not very well cleaned.

Great location and service, next to the ski station, ski shop on the hotel, great service. Breakfast was good.

Had a week here with the family over the Ski Feb half term. The hotel was excellent, overall a very enjoyable stay. The location is 1 minute from the slopes with a very helpful ski shop. The hotel arranged taxi transfer for us which worked out perfectly too as the driver knew the best routes to avoid the queues. The restaurant food was very good and bar area was really nice.

Things that could have been better:
* Rooms for 3 were a little tight but more than manageable
* There could have been a little more warm vegetables with dinner, loads of salad and fruit but hardly any veg to choose from.

Amazing Spa with a pool, steam room, sauna and ice too. Amazing staff who were all so helpful. Amazing location - ski in and out. Slopes are literally outside the front door.

I’ll start with good points - We loved this hotel, amazing food, great staff (especially the restaurant staff) , perfect access to slope, great location to lifts. Rooms were comfortable and we had a lovely view of the slopes. Rooms were cleaned everyday . Spa was perfect , lovely to have swim and sauna after a day on the slopes. Over all - lovely hotel and we were really happy. Only 2 little negatives - the boot room was tiny , we couldn’t get a locker (not enough for hotel) so had to take skis and boots to room. Not enough hanging space on the room - the rooms are small and minimal clothes space.

We had a great time at this hotel, really enjoyed the breakfasts. Hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful. Ski room staff were great!

Great hotel right next to the La Plagne ski lifts with fantastic service. The hotel's own ski shop / ski rental was very convenient. All the staff were super kind and helpful. We had a wonderful stay, happy to recommend this hotel for anyone coming to La Plagne.

Très bon hôtel pour un séjour au ski. Bien placé, très propre et accueillant. Petit déjeuner varié et agréable. Chambres bien pensées. Les salles de bains sont un peu datées mais rien de grave. Ski shop pratique et personnel serviable. Espace détente agréable même si la piscine, aveugle, est assez petite et très bruyante. Réservée au plus de 12 ans pour assurer un minimum de calme, elle est régulièrement squattée par des familles avec de jeunes enfants parfois très bruyants. C’est insupportable et il faut partir.
C’est dommage car l’espace est plutôt réussi, surtout le spa et le sauna. Le bilan général reste largement positif pour cet hôtel bien adapté aux familles. On reviendra très probablement.

Bilan mitigé l hotel bien mais le bar n est absolument pas à la hauteur d un 4 etoiles:musique très très forte pas de sevice en salle il faut commander au bar et aller chercher ses consommations car le personnel ne bouge pas.

We enjoyed staying at the hotel. Location is very good with shops , restaurants, ski schools within 6mins walking distance. There is sauna and steam room in the hotel which is really good after a long day of skiing. Breakfast is ok with reasonable options.
