will visit again, Tick most of the boxes if you spend most of the time away in daytime
Pros:

The property got lots of character, twisty corridors(we were fine with it but the pensioners were struggling a bit). i don't think there is any lift. Room was very clean, cleaner was on everyday. Good wifi connection. Good buffet breakfast. The location of toaster and coffee machine is close by, which caused a bit of congestion. We recommend it to anyone who don't mind a bit of walking. Location was perfect of old town attractions, with plenty of restaurants nearby.

Cons:

The reception staff is not very attentive; they answer if we ask anything, but nothing more or any guidance. The coffee machine at the reception take only coins which is no use nowadays. The reception doesn't keep change to help the customers or there is no option for contactless payment.

Great location and reasonable price but perhaps not for everyone.
Pros:

Excellent location for sightseeing, very close (short walks) to major attractions in the Old Town. Easy to get from and to the airport. Very atmospheric surroundings. The hotel itself has an old-fashioned charm, reminiscing of 19th century novels. Standard room was not large but, facing the courtyard, was very quiet. Bathroom was small but functional. If one can live with the quirks mentioned below, this hotel is pretty good value.

Cons:

The hotel probably is probably well past its better days. The 19th century architecture with a complicated system of passages and stairs worked probably well when servants were carrying the gentlemen/tsarist officers' luggage. No lift nowadays is not convenient. We stayed on the ground floor but needed to take two flight of stairs to get to the breakfast room. Other quirks: a lamp post right in front of our courtyard-facing room shined extremely strong light whole night (the shades could only partially block it). We were told that some rooms could be noisy on weekends because of a night club next door.

Lokalizacja świetna, warunki bardzo średnie.
Pros:

Hotel był zlokalizowany tuż przy przepięknym Starym mieście. W pokoju był czajnik.

Cons:

Niestety pobyt w tym hotelu był bardzo rozczarowujący. Ściany są cienkie jak papier — pierwszej nocy nie mogłam spać już od godziny 6:00 z powodu ogromnego hałasu w sąsiednich pokojach. Było słychać absolutnie wszystko.

Dostaliśmy pokój przy patio, który był ciemny, ciasny i duszny. Jedyne małe okno wychodziło na patio, dlatego przez cały czas musieliśmy mieć je zasłonięte, co dodatkowo potęgowało wrażenie mroku. Łóżko było przeciętnie wygodne.

Śniadania również oceniam średnio — wybór był niewielki, niezależnie od godziny, o której się na nie przyszło. Zdecydowanie nie wrócę do tego hotelu i nie polecę go nikomu.

An interesting hotel in the centre of the old town
Pros:

The location of the hotel is great, right in the centre of the old town and perfect for a walking tour. It's an old and quirky building with a rabbit warren of slightly uneven but well carpeted corridors (and no lift, of course) and some impressive reception rooms with traditional decor. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast plentiful. All the staff were friendly and helpful and most spoke good English. This seemed like fairly good value for an interesting hotel in the old town.

Cons:

The towels in the bathroom were rather small and well worn.
Unfortunately there is a club situated next to the hotel and, on Friday and Saturday nights, it went on playing thumping music well into the early hours - but the hotel cannot do much about this, apparently.

Das Hotel hatte Ambiente, Offene Balken und Gemälde in den Gängen, hat man nicht oft.

Cons:

Das Zimmer war sehr klein.
