Pros:

Clean and comfortable room

Cons:

A very dated hotel which felt like you were in a 70's time warp. Staff were very mono and not motivated. Very disappointed.

A satisfactory stay. Value for money.
Pros:

It was close to the family we were visiting in a nearby village. Generally very quiet.

Cons:

The bathrooms need generally updating. The ‘accessible’ rooms really should have wet room bathrooms and perhaps be better thought out. It did not affect materially affect our visit but could for future guests.

Perfect little break away for us. Probably would stay again as the price was perfect for us.
Pros:

The hotel was in a great location in the country. Lovely and quiet. The room I had booked was a suite and it was huge. Although it seemed a bit out of date with the furniture the room itself was very clean and very comfortable. The tables in the restaurant were also outdated but that’s only a minor matter. The rest of the hotel was lovely too. The staff were amazing and very friendly people who had time for everyone. Only spent a two day break but we could have stayed longer.

Cons:

The only let down for us was the breakfast. It was an English breakfast but no tomatoes or hash browns, if you wanted fried or poached eggs they had to be ordered separately. No continental options which we later found out they used to do.
We did have dinner there too and I will say it was amazing and worth the money.

If the room had been refurbished and deep cleaned then it would match the care of the entire hotel.
Pros:

The staff were friendly.
The outside gardens were well kept.

Cons:

My room was neglected and needed refurbishing! And a deep clean as there were cobwebs.

And the bathroom had muld on the walls.

Very happy and comfortable.
Pros:

The room was clean and spacious with a lovely view is a birch tree outside the window. The bed was comfortable and the towels were a good size and good quaility. The bathroom was clad and spacious with a nice hot, powerful shower. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Cons:

The breakfast could have been better. Nicer coffee and more consideration for vegetarians.
