The showers don’t work very well - facilities need updating and renovating
Its quite basic but cheap and ideally located for us as we have family nearby.

The towels from the previous occupancy was left in the room and had fake tan on them.
The price of the drinks were more expensive in the hotel than in the city centre.
Easily accessible, the rooms are a reasonable size. There is a lift in place to assist you if you have heavy luggage or mobility issues. Quiet situation allows you to enjoy the countryside from the grounds
The food is very good. Staff are attentive.
I appreciate everyone is different but I found the hotel very warm.
We had a ground floor room. The path running along the front of the hotel meant everyone walked past your window. Would have been good if it was the other side of the grass.

Nice to have a games room food was really good a little pricey but you get what you pay for
Staff were friendly and welcoming, food in the restaurant was really good and breakfast was excellent
Nothing really, if I had to complain it would be that the rooms were very warm, but we just opened the window
My wife and I have stayed here several times, usually with a two day break deal, and have never had a bad experience. The new living area in the Suite is excellent. The food is consistently good and reasonably priced; and the location is excellent for visiting York and the surrounding areas. We will definitely visit again.
