Clean and comfortable room
A very dated hotel which felt like you were in a 70's time warp. Staff were very mono and not motivated. Very disappointed.
It was close to the family we were visiting in a nearby village. Generally very quiet.
The bathrooms need generally updating. The ‘accessible’ rooms really should have wet room bathrooms and perhaps be better thought out. It did not affect materially affect our visit but could for future guests.
The hotel was in a great location in the country. Lovely and quiet. The room I had booked was a suite and it was huge. Although it seemed a bit out of date with the furniture the room itself was very clean and very comfortable. The tables in the restaurant were also outdated but that’s only a minor matter. The rest of the hotel was lovely too. The staff were amazing and very friendly people who had time for everyone. Only spent a two day break but we could have stayed longer.
The only let down for us was the breakfast. It was an English breakfast but no tomatoes or hash browns, if you wanted fried or poached eggs they had to be ordered separately. No continental options which we later found out they used to do.
We did have dinner there too and I will say it was amazing and worth the money.
Good location lunch was good. Rooms looking a bit tired
Lack of acoustic isolation
The staff were friendly.
The outside gardens were well kept.
My room was neglected and needed refurbishing! And a deep clean as there were cobwebs.
And the bathroom had muld on the walls.

Nothing
The setting was lovely, the staff friendly and helpful.
The thin net curtains need replacing.
Other that that everything was good.
Comfortable room.
Very good value for money
Good breakfast
Possibly, the location is remote
Clean polite and very accommodating
Nothing
We liked the comfort of the bed and it was a good size, lots of space in the room. Nice garden
The bathroom has a shower curtain- dont like them and it could do with updating, breakfast ok.
It is À bit old fashioned place
Quiet and peaceful.
Basic and utilitarian.
Great value for money, nice grounds and room
A bit of a walk to the local village but ideal if driving
We stayed in this hotel in January for 2 nights and we wanted to come back
So we came up for one night as we were visiting a friend
Staff were amazing everything was amazing
Room was tidy but walls were a bit scuffed up but apart from that It was amazing
Definitely be back
The room was clean and spacious with a lovely view is a birch tree outside the window. The bed was comfortable and the towels were a good size and good quaility. The bathroom was clad and spacious with a nice hot, powerful shower. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The breakfast could have been better. Nicer coffee and more consideration for vegetarians.
