Wonderful property. I would definitely stay there again.
Staff were the best. Our Daughter had her second birthday while staying at the resort. The staff made her day extra special with decorations and even a present. Cant say enough how special the staff made her and us feel. Also amazing place to relax in a beautiful landscape.
Very friendly attentive staff, we loved our room , food and breakfast excellent! The only thing , there was no bar… we will definitely come back !
The accommodation was nice and clean, the service was friendly but fairly average.
Excellent facilities all around. Great staying here once again.
Horrible experience at check in - had to wait 20 minutes with two babies and no place to sit down
Dirty towels
Unfriendly and inefficient staff
Excellent
It was quick and the room was well prepared
Very comfortable and relaxing stay for the family. Pool is a lot of fun for kids. Wish they had more kids activities before June, and a better lobby bar. The spa/gym/pools was excellent, and the staff were so helpful and friendly.
This is a beautiful, well appointed, first class resort. The staff was extremely helpful and courteous. The dining was superb and the entire hotel was immaculate. We will definitely return.
We arrived comfortably at the resort, which is set in a quiet and beautiful environment with plenty of parking spaces. Although we had booked a one-bedroom suite for a night, we were upgraded to a suite with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The small spa in the resort was perfect for unwinding, and I appreciated the good exercise equipment in the gym.
Even though we only stayed for one night, the spacious kitchen, living room, dining area, and terrace made us wish we could relax there for a month.
One issue we encountered was with the hotel's restaurant. Whether it was due to an event on the day we arrived or because it was the off-season, the restaurant's menu lacked variety, and the service was very slow. We saw other guests complaining, so we decided to go out to Cascais for dinner. It turned out to be a good choice.
Love this resort, we did enjoy it at its off season; the weather was mild at the end of November and only got 1 rainy day. Staff is friendly and helpful. We have a lovely 2 bedroom suite and kitchen and living rm, the only thing I would have to say is that we kept having issue with internet and that was do to the room’s router which they replace a day after we arrived.
Hello,
We stayed 3 nights and had to change rooms 4 times, with the last one still being dirty. The first room had a wet spot under the blanket, which turned out to be urine. They upgraded us, but the second room was too noisy, the third wasn’t on the ground floor as booked, and the fourth, while quiet, wasn’t properly prepared.
The pool was small for the size of the property, with no indoor pool or heating. The spa lacked bathrobes, and the one in our room had ripped pockets. The coffee machine in the room was unstable, leading to an unsafe accident. Housekeeping only came at 6 pm on our second day.
Our couple’s massage was ruined by noise from heavy lifting in the next room. The thermal area was disappointing with just warm pools instead of hot and cold. The breakfast was low-quality, with machine-made cappuccino, even when ordered from the waiter.
The fees for sauna access and slow, unstable internet were ridiculous. Overall, the experience was awful and ruined our 3 days in Portugal during our first visit. This was far from a 5-star experience, though the front desk staff was good at problem-solving. However, this stay has made me reconsider Marriott for future trips.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The grounds and pool area were beautiful and scenic.
Great service!
Dining options were limited and not convenient to public transportation.
Limited to no phone/internet signal on property.
The staff was accommodating and the property and hotel are nice.
Location extremely odd, a car journey away from anywhere. Feels like you are in a modern country club without the facilities and you have to drive a semi industrial estate to get there. Overrated here. Decent size rooms but no walk in shower or coffee machines. Very strange for this price level.
We got upgraded to a suite. It was amazing!
This was our second time at the Sheraton Cascais and we will be returning. Rooms are spacious, beds comfortable, breakfast is excellent, staff friendly and helpful. What’s there not to like?
In many ways, the stay was like my previous two visits: the room was comfy, the grounds pretty, the breakfast buffet a good one. But there were a few problems/flaws.
1) Between booking the reservation and showing up, the time for when kids may use the indoor pool changed, and it was changed to a time that made my son using it impossible. These things happen, but it's irksome when that was a key reason we were there in the first place.
2) The front desk billed me for two tourist taxes, even though my son is nine and therefore exempt. I didn't realize this until after the fact. It's a small thing, but still.
3) I'm a builder, so of course I noticed the gaps in the LVP flooring used in a recent renovation. It's the kind of thing that if it had happened under my supervision, I would have demanded it be redone or else fired the subcontractor.
Wonderful place for a weekend relaxation trip for the family. Spacious rooms and self catering friendly options. Very family friendly
