Ons volgende hotel was top!
Pros:

Het ontbijt was goed. De dame die het ontbijt verzorgde was top. Dat gold ook voor 1 van de dames die hielp op het terras. Er zijn een paar leuke/goede restaurants in de buurt waar je prima kunt eten.

Cons:

Wij hadden een suite geboekt, althans dat was de omschrijving. Een benauwde slaapkamer met een een drempel van zo'n 30 cm om te betreden. Levensgevaarlijk als je 's nachts naar het toilet zou moeten. In het leefgedeelte was een kast waar twee bedden waren verstopt, daar moesten wij zelf achter komen (wij slapen apart) terwijl daar nadrukkelijk naar hadden gevraagd.
De badkamer ruim. Maar de douche was verstopt achter een muur met (weer) een drempel van zo'n 30 centimeter met lekker gladde vloer en scherpe randen.
En wat een gehorige kamer! Wat er naast of boven de suite allemaal loos is prima te horen.

Alles bestens. Gerne bald wieder.
Pros:

Superschönes Hotel und aufmerksame Mitarbeiter. Buffet am Morgen, Abendessen. Alles Prima. Die Lage ist sehr zentral.

Cons:

Das wirklich einzige. Wäre toll wenn es auf den Zimmern eine Möglichkeit gäbe, sich hin und wieder einen Kaffee zuzubereiten. Wasserkocher, evtl. löslichen Kaffee oder Tee.

Good central location, friendly, helpful staff. Great breakfast and Michelin Guide restaurant.
Pros:

Perfect location in the middle of Kirchzarten. A short walk to cafés, supermarkets and the train station. A reasonable size car park at the back of the hotel for residents. The room and bathroom were a good size and well appointed. A private outside seating area was a nice touch too. Breakfast had a great selection of quality, local produce. My wife and I had an amazing evening meal in the Michelin Guide restaurant that also has a large wine and digestive drinks menu. All the staff were friendly and helpful and if your German isn't up to scratch, they speak enough good English for easy communication.

Cons:

The wi-fi could have been better. The double bed was two single beds pushed together with mediocre mattresses. House keeping only came to our room once in six days (we were in and didn't require them) and we would have been out of the room for easy access most days.
