Was not able to experience either restaurant or breakfast as we were there on a Sunday night and had to depart earlier than 6 AM for an appointment with DHMC. So therefore, no negatives, but hopefully a future visit will allow both.

Great location;friendly staff,clean room .excellent value. Less than 5 min drive to mature restaurants ,walking distance to great Patrick’s restaurant,concert venue . 10 min drive to public lake beautiful.outdoor pool is a perfect touch after a day at the lake

My mom and I traveled to Vermont to tour the Dartmouth campus and surrounding area. This hotel provided a great place to rest in a spacious room outfitted with comfortable beds, a mini fridge, a microwave, and a desk. The a/c was greatly appreciated, front desk staff ladies were warm and friendly, and the hotel's amenities - outdoor space, pool and hot tub, restaurant - were great, so we can't wait to come back to take advantage of everything.

We stayed at the Fireside Inn & Suites for two nights and would definitely stay here again. Its location offers easy on/off access to the highway, making it a convenient stop for travelers.

Check-in was quick and easy, and the staff was friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. Our room was clean, comfortable, and had an updated feel. The bed was comfortable, the temperature was easy to control, and despite being close to the highway, the room was surprisingly quiet—we never heard our neighbors. The only minor issue in the room was that the Wi-Fi could be a little spotty at times.

One of the highlights of the hotel is the indoor pool and hot tub area. There was plenty of comfortable seating, making it a relaxing place to unwind, and we also enjoyed spending time in the courtyard lounge. My only suggestions for improvement would be to make the pool area a little brighter, keep it a bit cooler, and have the hot tub a few degrees warmer.

We had dinner at the hotel's restaurant the first night and were pleasantly surprised. Our burger and steak were both cooked perfectly. The fries were some of the best I've had at a hotel restaurant, and the mashed potatoes were absolutely delicious. The dining room can be a little noisy since it's an open space, but it still has a comfortable, relaxed atmosphere. The breakfast buffet was a nice convenience with a good variety of options, although it wasn't anything particularly memorable.

The property has a rustic charm that fits the area well. While a few areas feel a bit dated, it adds to the character rather than detracting from the experience. Overall, we felt the hotel offered solid value for the price considering its location, amenities, and friendly service.

I'd rate this hotel 4 out of 5 stars. With a slightly warmer hot tub and a brighter, cooler pool area, and better Wi-Fi, it would easily earn a 5-star rating from us. I'd happily recommend it to families or anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay in the Upper Valley area.
