We loved or stay there .
The location is nice. It's just outside of the downtown of Barnstable and near the waterfront restaurants and Hyannis Whale Watch location . The place is quiet, clean and comfortable. The pool is nice and peaceful. We have stayed here twice now and would do so again next time I visit Cape Cod.
The location was wonderful. Quiet and light traffic in West Barnstable. The main street was just minutes away and offered a great market, stores, shops and restaurants. The beaches were plentiful and the scenery getting to them was spectacular.
Our stay at Lamb & Lion was exceptional. The owner, Lauren, is a true gem. She ensured our vacation needs were met or exceeded! The housekeeper, Nikki, is a true pro as well. Customer service is the name of the game here! We will certainly be back!
We would have enjoyed a full size refrigerator in our unit. There was no ice maker. That's all. Lauren is in the process of updating the facility. All in all, we had a wonderful time!
Lauren is fabulous ~ She has done a wonderful job with a beautiful property. As an Air B&B host myself @ one time I appreciated everything Lauren has accomplished. I so enjoyed the quiet space. I enjoyed that Lauren respected our privacy unless we needed her, she was just a call or door knock away, but we never did. Very pleasant people. We will definitely be making Lauren’s -1700’s space our new to go to on Cape home away from home if Lauren will have us again. It’s just lovely.Thank you Lauren ~

Very nice and comfortable. It was pleasure to talk with the innkeeper Loren. She was so helpful, kind. Great location to the beach, restaurants and hiking. We really enjoyed.
Loved the relaxed vibe, the hot tub, the beautiful property (the hydrangeas and roses in the courtyard especially), the welcoming of my pet, and the bed was like a cloud. I loved walking my pup around the property and there was a trail just down the street. I also meditated on the back porch and threw the ball for my pup which he absolutely loved!
I was looking for a pot of coffee in the morning, although never saw one. There was a shelf with cups and coffee items in a main sitting area, but I would've loved having that option.
Beautiful location. We loved time at the pool and hot tub. everyone was super friendly.

The Inn dated from the mid 1700's and fit seamlessly into the Barnstable neighborhood.

It's a beautiful, quiet, relaxing inn. It's away from the crowds and noise of parts of the Cape, but all of those are still pretty close by if you want to visit. The rooms are really nicely decorated, and ours had a deck looking out over the wooded back yard where we saw rabbits and foxes (not at the same time). A great weekend.
