Amorita Resort Bohol

4 of us stayed in the 2 bedroom villa and had the best time. The pool in the villa was great to have just to ourselves and felt very private and serene with the greenery surrounding it. The villa had everything we needed. While the two rooms are in the same villa, they don’t share any walls so it felt private enough for our two couples’ privacy. Highly recommend one of the pool villas! Also the towel art is top notch 😂

The location is truly the best of both worlds. There’s a short staircase that takes you right down to the beach from Amorita with tons of restaurants (Ryu’s lectin was our fav), convenience stores and more. I think being perched on the cliff is a good thing as it can get really busy and loud at the beach but once you’re up the stairs to Amorita, it’s serene and the view is amazing. It’s a short walk to all the action and honestly the pools are so nice at Amorita you won’t miss the beach.

The front desk was super helpful (shoutout to Joan! She’s the best!) they booked our massages at the spa, our countryside tour, arranged transportation and made sure our stay was perfect. They also made sure we knew about all the Amorita events like happy hour and grill and chill.

We did archery which was fun and our instructor, Art, was super helpful and sweet. Also did kayaking and paddle boarding, you have to book all in advance at the front desk. Tip: if you want to hang out at the beach you can grab mats to lay on at the stand at the end of the staircase.

Last thing I want to mention is the breakfast included at the resort is the best I’ve ever had at any hotel or resort. There’s traditional Filipino fare in addition to a made to order omelette/egg bar, toasts, waffles, jams, pastries, bacon, anything you could possibly want.

A couple other shout outs to the staff, Peter, Girlie, and Ted at Saffron were always so sweet and incredibly helpful.

P.S. Bring your bug spray for the mosquitos!

The wonderful staff (shout out to Joan) will take care of your every need, whether it’s organizing tours, getting a massage in the onsite spa, or offering you complimentary popsicles and cucumber shots by the pool.

I don’t normally like to linger in hotel restaurants but the Saffron was great, and we looked forward to starting the day with the breakfast buffet that has dishes that rotate daily.

I also loved the Chill and Grill nights with live music. It’s located on a cliff top above Alona beach so it’s close to the lively nightlife action but still tranquil.

This place was amazing. Everything exceeded expectations and was reasonably priced. All the staff were extremely warm and friendly. Joan was extremely helpful and responsive responding to our requests. Peter and Girlie at Saffron were always super friendly! The food at the restaurants was delicious. The complimentary breakfast buffet was by far the best I've ever had. Dishes on offer rotated every day, omelette station for fresh cooked eggs every day and pastries where all super fresh and perfectly baked. I wish the baker was there so I could give them a handshake. Also loved the massages at the spa. The grounds were beautiful. Especially loved all the pools. Was a little worried about not having a private beach area but ended up making use of the various pools every day. Preferred the pool to going to the beach and getting sand every where. We had a villa with a private pool which was worth every penny. Highly recommend Amorita for anyone looking for a luxury resort experience. Towel art was also hella cute.

Incredible experience! The resort is very nice with great views of the beach from their two infinty pools. My wife and I booked a 2 bedroom villa with another couple and really enjoyed the access to a private infinity pool. This resort is on top of a cliff which allows for great views all around. The Beach is also easily accessible from a short staircase. From the beach or main entrance and you can take a short walk into town to enjoy more food, entertainment, drinks, and nightlife.

All of the employees were incredibly friendly, and helpful throughout our stay. I especially appreciate Joan, who helped us book activities and excursions and answer our questions. Ted, C Jay, RC, Girlie, and Pete were all also great and made our stay enjoyable and memorable.

The food was good at Saffron and Tomar was tasty, but I would also encourage folks to enjoy nearby establishments as well during your stay. The inclusive breakfast exceeded my expectations with a wide range of options that changed each morning. They offer 6 or so chaffers of hot food items, a wide range of sweet items, congee, drinking chocolate and they will also make eggs for you.

Overall, a lovely experience that I wouls recommend to folks looking to stay in Panglao.

We had a wonderful stay at the amorita resort. We went there for our honeymoon with my wife and we don’t regret our choice. The hôtel is stunning and very well located.
But what we liked the most was the team, big thank you to Prime to welcome us just the way he did, the whole team made our honeymoon even more memorable just by their kindness and their attention during all our stay.

My family and I had a really good stay in Amorita. The place was clean and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate our requests. Will definitely comeback.

We stayed for three nights in Amorita. Great experience from beginning to end. We reserved a one bedroom Seaview Suite, Serendipity Package with breakfast and massage included. Due to the typhoons it was quite wet and dark on our arrival day and the lack of proper seaview (more tree view with a bit of sea in between) was quite a disappointment especially since it was our wedding anniversary celebration. José Prime made our day. He immediately took action and prepared for us a sea view pool villa which offered the sea view we booked. For the next few days we really enjoyed the hotel, the SPA, the pools and the wonderful hospitality of all staff. They help you with tours, taxis, always with a friendly face. We can highly recommend a stay here. It's overlooking Alona Beach, which is beautiful. The Beach itself is full of people who want to sell you something and feels a bit tacky.
If we may give one suggestion to the management: give the singer a better sound system, because the sound it too loud and echoing in an irritating way. If the sound system is OK, then consider changing the singer.

We had a wonderful stay at Amorita. The staff were consistently friendly and attentive throughout our visit. Even though we arrived well before the check-in time, they kindly prepared our room early. The location is excellent—peaceful and secluded, yet just a short and easy walk to Alona Beach. The room was much more spacious and we'll kept than we had initially anticipated.

We really had a great time in Amorita. The service was excellent. The staff were very helpful and nice. Service deluxe up to the time of our check out. Food was also superb. The place of course is neat, well maintained and homey. Truly a very memorable stay.

It was a very beautiful stay for 9 nights. All staff was very friendly. Two great Pools with a look to the ocean. The Hotel offer Tours to Bohol. A perfect and pleasure Holiday.

The accommodation is very relaxing and peaceful. The pools are nice and the view of the beach is amazing. Will return here soon

It was my best experience to date in a Hotel. It's very clean, the staff is very friendly, every single one of them. We went for 5 massages in 9 days because they were really great, on the same level than original thai massages, if not even better. Here I would advice you to ask for jaque the destroyer or Diana the punisher(that's how I named them), if you like a strong hand on your back. The pools and the location itself really outstand in panglao Bohol, if you have the money you should go for the pool Villa, it's really luxurious and very good to take pictures for social media purposes. Housekeeping comes two times a day and our coffee mashine never ran out of capsules.

Everyone is friendly and very thoughtful. They are catering all the needs of the clients. Massage is fantastic and amazing. Techniques are out of this world!

Amorita always a good choice when going to Panglao. Excellent service and cozy amenities. Will always consider it as an option whenever going to Panglao.

From the moment you set foot at Amorita the staff are very welcoming and beautiful people. Nothing is a problem for them. They are more than willing to help you.
The rooms are spacious and beautiful and are immaculately kept.
The grounds are stunning and very well kept.
The bar and food staff are exceptional as was the food and drinks.

We stayed at Amorita Resort for only 2 nights but we had an amazing time. Miss Joan was super friendly and helpful while we stayed there. The resort is really beautiful with stunning views of the ocean. We stayed during the slow season so we were able to enjoy the pool to ourselves a few times which was really nice. The rooms were really spacious and nice and the food was really good at all 3 restaurants in the resort.

Excellent, super polite staff very efficient and helpful. One of the best hotels I have stayed in. Everything perfect from easy check in , excellent breakfast, fab affinity pools with the most amazing views. House keeping and room service unreal - a few free fruit juices, little mini flap jacks left daily - felt ultra spoilt. I usually don't revisit hotels or places but I am definitely hoping to get back to the Amorita Resort
