Fantastic hotel if you get the right room
Pros:

Location of the hotel is amazing, and the building is absolutely beautiful. It is located right in the heart of the city - close to the sea and on Via Toledo the main shopping street. There are lots of great places to eat nearby too.
Some of the rooms are absolutely beautiful, and the view inside the galleria is stunning.
The staff are very friendly and helpful - special thanks to Caterina for making breakfast a fantastic experience every day. Grazie Mille!

Cons:

On arrival we were given a room that didn't match what was booked - we had selected twin beds and a galleria view and were given neither. A room located in an odd part of the hotel overlooking a main road.
Thankfully the staff worked extra hard to rectify this for the rest of our stay and the new room was absolutely perfect.

Pros:

La posizione centrale, la colazione super di ogni mattina in hotel con vista galleria, l'accoglienza della Sig.ra Caterina che ci portava la colazione con il sorriso sulle labbra, fornendoci anche suggerimenti su percorsi inediti da fare a Napoli per vederla al meglio
Un grazie particolare a lei e a tutto lo staff

Pros:

La giornata non può che iniziare bene con Caterina . La sua accoglienza il suo sorriso sono una meraviglia . Entri in sala colazione e una meravigliosa esplosione di specialità napoletane ti fanno venire voglia di assaggiare tutto . Una vera festa .

Cons:

Purtroppo se hai il sonno leggero è impossibile dormire . Di notte la galleria si anima di ragazzi chiassosi e maleducati che si radunano all’interno della galleria e sono davvero incivili.

Ein schönes, gut gelegenes Hotel im Herzen Neapels.
Pros:

Die Lage in der Galleria Umberto ist spektakulär. Perfekt, um zahlreiche Sehenswürdigkeiten zu Fuß zu erreichen. Sehr gute und geschmackvolle Zimmerausstattung.

Das Frühstück war - auch für italienische Verhältnisse - doch eher schmal.
