Emplacement parfait : métro 1 quasiment au pied de l’hôtel, arc de triomphe à 5mn, de bons bistrots à proximité

Cons:

Un petit coup de rafraîchissement sur les boiseries dans la chambre, la baignoire se décolle du mur laissant apparaître des zones qu’on ne souhaite pas voir 😉

Overall, our stay had both positives and negatives. The hotel has some great features, but the noise would make me hesit
Pros:

We really liked the bathroom, especially the bathtub. It was very spacious and made the room feel much more comfortable. We also enjoyed the breakfast. We went to cafés the first two mornings, but on our last day we tried the hotel breakfast and were pleasantly surprised by how much we liked it.

The robe and slippers provided were also a very nice touch and made relaxing in the room much more comfortable.

Cons:

We did not enjoy the noise outside the hotel. It was very difficult to sleep, and we were waking up early every morning because of trash trucks and construction. The noise was bad enough that, if this is an everyday occurrence, I would not stay at this hotel again. In fact, if you value your sleep, it may be better to stay farther outside the city center in Paris.

One recommendation I have for the hotel would be to provide portable fans in each room. Being able to turn on a fan would have helped with how warm the room became, and the extra noise would have helped drown out the sounds from outside.

I also think the TVs should have the option to switch channels or settings into English. We tried everything to put the TV in English, but it would not work. Most hotels or Airbnbs offer the ability to switch the language to English or allow you to log into your own Netflix account, but this TV did not. Wanting to relax in the hotel room and only being able to watch shows in French meant that we ended up spending most of the time on our phones instead.

A perfect Parisian weekend!
Pros:

While our room was on the smaller side, the staff, cleanliness, location and breakfast were really wonderful.

Location was convenient. Gentleman who checked is in , I believe his name was Alain was super sweet.

Cons:

They overcharged us; they put breakfast on our bill and added additional waters we never had. That’s not the biggest issue. The woman at the checkout was disrespectful, arguing and calling us liars, and raising her voice at me. I’ve never had an experience like that before. This woman at the checkout was arrogant and disrespectful. Never been treated like that at the Hotel.

I loved my stay at Chalgrin! I also loved that the staff was happy to help me practice my French!
Pros:

The staff delivered exceptional customer service throughout our stay, greeting us warmly and accommodating every request with genuine care. The bed was extremely comfortable and the décor elegantly curated, but the true highlight was the breathtaking balcony — a stunning vantage point that captured the very essence of Paris. We left feeling thoroughly at home and will without doubt be returning.

Cons:

There were very few things that could have improved my stay, which would include more lighting in the bathroom near the sink to assist with applying makeup, and small moths that would appear every now and then.

Cons:

Je suis arrivé au check-in, la gentille personne de l'accueil me dit que nous avons le petit déj inclus, finalement quelle ne fut pas ma surprise lorsque à mon départ nous nous voyons devoir payer 100€ de plus, soit 25€/PP par petit déj alors qu'on nous a dit que c'était compris dans la réservation en arrivant.
