Nothing but you need to book for breakfast after the booking even if they put it’s included nothing includes just the room if you want breakfast you need to pay extra like 13£ on person
Room: The room was clean, but the air conditioning did not work throughout my stay. It was unbearably hot, and I could not sleep properly on any night. Despite reporting the issue several times, it was never fixed, even though I was repeatedly promised that an engineer would come. Other guests, including a colleague of mine, experienced the same problem.
Breakfast: The breakfast selection was good, and the breakfast staff were friendly, welcoming, and professional. They were the best part of the stay.
Location: The location is convenient and ideal for exploring Brighton.
Service: The handling of guest complaints by the reception staff was disappointing. Repeated promises to fix the air conditioning were never fulfilled. What made it worse was the way my colleague, who is a professor at a European university, was treated. She politely asked whether the air conditioning could be fixed, and a staff member responded, "We can't turn it into a refrigerator for you."** This remark was dismissive, disrespectful, and completely inappropriate. Guests who raise legitimate concerns deserve to be treated with courtesy and professionalism, regardless of who they are.
The air conditioning in my room did not work during my entire stay, making the room unbearably hot and preventing me from sleeping properly on any night. Despite reporting the issue several times, I was repeatedly promised that an engineer would fix it, but no one ever came, and the staff later acted as though no such promises had been made.
It was also clear that this was not an isolated issue, as other guests, including a friend of mine, experienced the same problem. When my friend complained, a staff member responded, "We can't turn it into a refrigerator for you," which came across as dismissive and disrespectful rather than helpful.
For the price paid, I expected a functioning air conditioning system, honest communication, and a genuine effort to resolve guest concerns. Unfortunately, the poor handling of complaints and the overheated rooms made the stay very uncomfortable.
