I highly recommend this hotel
Pros:

Fabulous hotel, the staff is very friendly, helpful and kind.
Room very spacious and clean.
The onsen amazing
The complimentary bus from and to Odawara and from/to Motohakone
When the weather is nice you can see Fuji San from the hotel

Pros:

The location of this hotel is unbeatable! The view of Lake Ashinoko and Mt. Fuji was so beautiful & serene. Additionally, we were traveling by train for this trip, and we were really delighted that there was a free shuttle service to & from Odawara station.

Beauty away from the hustle and bustle
Pros:

This was the most stunning place we stayed. Such a beautiful little “resort like” town. The staff were amazing. The lake view room was fantastic. We ate dinner at the lakeside grill which was awesome. The views of Mount Fuji in the morning were breath taking.

Cons:

The buses ran less often than in the city to make sure you plan your daytime schedule or you can ride the ferry boat to the main town of Motohakone which is a little more pricey but worth the views.

Chambre spacieuse et inoubliable face au mont Fuji
Pros:

Grande chambre qui peut facilement accueillir quatre personnes. La vue sur le lac et le mont Fuji, lorsque le ciel est dégagé, est absolument superbe.

L'hôtel propose également un onsen intérieur et extérieur, que je recommande vivement. L'expérience a été magique.

Côté transport, la station du Hakone Komagatake Ropeway se trouve à moins de cinq minutes à pied et offre une vue incroyable sur les environs. Je conseille d'y aller en fin de journée pour profiter du coucher du soleil.
À noter : vous pouvez bénéficier d'un tarif réduit en indiquant que vous séjournez à l'hôtel.
Des bus permettent également de rejoindre directement le lac Ashi et le torii sur l'eau du sanctuaire d'Hakone.

L'hôtel met en place une navette reliant l'établissement à Odawa Station. Lors de la réservation, il est possible de choisir parmi quatre créneaux, ce qui s'est révélé très pratique aussi bien à l'aller qu'au retour.

Le personnel, quant à lui, est très serviable et parle anglais.

Cons:

Point à améliorer : le mobilier et la salle de bain semble assez anciens, une légère modernisation serait a envisager pour rendre l'expérience plus agréable.

Également, l'hôtel se situe dans une zone assez isolé, il y a par conséquent peu de commerce pour se restaurer si vous ne mangez pas à l'hôtel.

あまりありませんが、強いて言うならば、食事が限られていたことです。夕食は外に食べに行こうと思っていましたが、16時には終わっていて、ホテルの食事は私たちには少しエクスペンシブルでした。もっとお金貯めてまた行きます

Stunning old world charm
Pros:

The location is exquisite, isolated and tranquil. Such a beautiful setting

Cons:

We arrived in a snowstorm and were isolated there. Entire area was closed down due to weather (obviously not hotel’s fault) but the Hotel didn’t offer much assistance as what activities we could do. Only meal options are very expensive.
Website is really tedious to navigate and deal with individual hotel issues
