Sleep Inn & Suites North Liberty - Liberty City

The issue is the facility: owners need to do a refurbishment, deep clean, reinstallations. They need to hire more staff and pay an attractive, living wage. Pet friendly hotels like this tend to have kennel-typical issues.

Hundreds of cigarette butts and other trash at the front of hotel and in the landscaping.

The first room reeked—air fresheners were being used to mask the scent of cat urine, carpet was filthy. Third floor was filled with cigarette smoke. Toilet in the first room had urine stains under the seat.
The second room smelled, but not nearly as badly. Nearly everything in the hotel was dirty, broken, torn, marred, stained, gouged or otherwise in disrepair. Toilet in second room had what appeared to be a bit of feces stuck in the bowl. The coffee maker was unusable due to a dried layer of gunk throughout the interior, the hair dryer stopped working, the eggs at breakfast weren't replenished and the few scraps left were baked hard and dry and couldn't be cut (not that scrambled eggs should ever have to be cut) or eaten. The mattress was hard due to compaction with age. The telephone had no cord and was unusable. The singular elevator made a disturbing noise while in use.

The hotel needs new installations, refurbishment, and a makeover. The issue is not staff. They're pedaling as fast as they can to keep up with the untenable workload, guest needs, and disrepair.

The 3rd floor smelt bad, had stains on a chair in the room. There were scratches all over the walls and doors.

You say in your ad that breakfast is served from 6 am and I lost my breakfast because they start serving it at 6:30 am, so you need to fix your ad for breakfast times

Could have been cleaner. Originally they tried to out in is a jacuzzi suite that the tub was broken because they did not have a king available. We had to settle for a 2 queen room probably won’t stay here again

the snow outside was not removed and there is
lot of handicapped people their just waiting for surgeries Please upgrade you snow/ice removal done sooner as their are a lot of handicapped stay there!!

Coffee, parking and beds is not always comfortable

The entire reason I chose to stay there was for the jetted tub in the room and the heated pool. Jetted tub never worked, heated pool was freezing. I'm disabled and needed both to help with my mobility. Neither were usable. Staff indifferent and unhelpful. Nothing was done , no offer to move to a room that had a working tub no nothing.
