This is the fifth time we have stayed. Good location and price
All staff were extremely helpful and polite and calm and confident. Check-in was a breeze. Location perfect! But curry across the road was yuk. So close to subway restaurant meant I could eat healthy on the cheap.
The checkout staff was a bit blunt or confused with the refund process.

The room looked quite different from the photos of the one we thought we booked. We understand that rooms can vary, but this one felt quite cold, dark, and there was a noticeable gap around the bathroom window and frame caused a strong draft
I booked based on location & price. Then I read the sad reviews, I was concerned. However, the facilities exceeded my expectations. Room 109 was fabulous, clean & tidy. Comfort: the big bed, the two arm chairs, the big bath, plush large towels. Beverages. Large wall pump bottles beautiful hand soap & hand & body moisturiser, shampoo & conditioner. There's more the balcony to enjoy a drink & watch the world go by. It is definitely not your everyday hotel and why not try something different, which it is. A Grand hotel from a bygone area. The whirling noisey warming itself up bathroom fan 🤣, the fabulous high ceiling, 24/7 room service. 🫶🏾
The bed was really comfortable, shower in the room was ok, cleaness of the whole place could be better!
Black long hair in the shower, it was so gross, the toilet seat was broken, and i nearly fell off lol
Dirty rugs on entering lift, and a really dodgy lift. Windows where filthy.
