Does the job for a night’s stay
Pros:

Great location in the centre of Hamilton. The staff were friendly. The room and bathroom were massive. Not too expensive.

Cons:

Everything was very outdated - the decor, the lift, the plumbing, the electrics. The pipes were very loud. We were woken up at 6am to what sounded like building work but it was just someone showering upstairs. The bed had hairs on it. A lot of the lights were flickering in the hallway which combined with the decor made for a rather unsettling atmosphere!

Suited my needs and will stay again
Pros:

The room was huge! Which suited our situation. The shower was great pressure however the shower door when opened turned the shower off - not a big deal but weirdly placed.
Street noise was a bit more than expected but died down around 9.30pm so bearable.
Would definitely stay there again.

Cons:

The double bed was 2 singles pushed together with very hard edges. The room was freezing with inadequate heating options. One of the rooms booked did not have additional blankets or pillows available.

Got the room to be able have to a spa but the jet were not working couldn't get it hot like spa bath should. Also under the beds had not been vacuumed and still rubbish from people before. When I told staff they didn't care or office anything or some money back . As not been standard room we stayed in .

Was very dated .. i guess tho it is heritage .. couldve been cleaner and the lighting in thw room was terrible .. tv in my room was hopeless as opposed to my friends room who had a smart tv so access to more
