Very run down. I would not stay here again

Cons:

Very tired with things not working such as elevator and y tv was only receiving a few channels. Staff were too busy to do anything about it. I asked to switch rooms but no response

Large clean room, crisp cold AC, overall great condition for its age.

Cons:

Appears the check in times on the booking.com website weren't correct which did cause some minor issues around checking in.
More information around parking would be helpful.

Pleasant stay
Pros:

The room was spacious and very comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is in an excellent location.

Cons:

The hotel reception operates between 7.30am and 7.30pm. In this day and age that should be extended from 7am to at least 9pm. Given the hotel is located in the city in an excellent location, this is a must.

Noise wasn't as bad as expected considering on main Rd.no slip mats or handrail in shower over bathtub was bit surprising accident waiting to happen.3pm checkin seemed bit excessive and parking is troublesome. A noisy waterpipe from nearby room woke me in the middle of night.hotel is very outdated.central location and cheapest in Hamilton so pros and cons.not luxury but not terrible

It was okay, but wouldn’t stay there again or recommend it
Pros:

Location in town was great.

Cons:

There was a hole in the roof and it rained one night and water was running through the hole all over the curtain and also dripping into the carpet. No safety lock on the door. Neighbours woke me up at 6am yelling at each other and slamming doors (not the hotels fault). Very basic, can tell it would have been a grand hotel in its day, definitely need Le a spruce up. Back entrance is like walking through the back of a restaurant not hotel
