We were greeted with a beautiful smile from Alfoncia. She was awesome and very polite and a delight to talk too. She suggested a marvelous bakery in Agassiz that did not disappoint. We opted for a fee to check in early. And chose paid parking. Parking on the street which is free. But it is public parking. Our room has a balcony with a very good view. Would be perfect in warmer weather. We were here in April for Tulip Festival and it's touch and go on weather this time of year. Come prepared for all 4 seasons.
Our room has been recently remodeled and you can tell. Everything was perfect. From the small kitchenette to the bathroom. Bed and linens are clean and soft. Bathroom very well supplied. Fluffy thick towels. Room gets dark enough quiet but can hear neighbor noise until quiet time. Hotel is a close walk to almost everything you could need. One thing, in my opinion, that would make this room perfect would be a ceiling fan.
We made an awesome choice by staying here.
The location of the Hotel and clean environments.
Room facilities were not enough and the swimming pool needs more attention
Room not clean properly, tried to charge extra for early check in, “fitness room” is a treadmill and no weights as the website describes, paid parking, hot tub not working properly
Reception absence, apart from that I wouldn’t recommend
Great location and view
Expensive and very annoying charges for extras. Pool a little too cold. No breakfast available
Comfortable with great views. Nice and new and in a great location
They will penny pinch and nickel and dime you at every possible opportunity. It’s a shame as the choices just rub the wrong way on what overall was a great and above average accommodation for it seems overall not that much extra money that should and could just be included in the base fare.
The space in the room. Indoor pool. Great value. Water views. Great size balcony!!!

Loved the view. Staff was great. Location is obviously amazing. I've stayed here many times before and always book on the lake side for the view. The room was spacious and beautiful and clean. High quality coffee and shower products. I wasn't there long but I noticed some new restaurants and stores since the last time I visited. I will definitely check out the Basecamp next time I'm in town.
There used to be ashtrays on the decks, which I loved because I have Crohn's and manage my symptoms with medical marijuana. The no smoking policy was unexpected and disappointing. The coffee in the Keurig machine was delicious but way too strong. I was having shakes after a few sips. I am not usually that sensitive. LOL! The shower has little pressure and the water sprays out of multiple spouts that don't come together, so it's hard to rinse shampoo and soap.
The staff was very nice and helpful. The room was clean and beautiful . The bed was comfortable.
The friendly staff and the location was excellent. Thank you.
