Disappointing but okay
Pros:

We arrived at Tahiti Village on March 15 around 3p.m. we waited in line for at least a half hour and was told our room wasnt ready. At 5:30p.m. we finally said, we need our room.....at 6pm we finally were checked in. Then hit with hard sell for timeshare. Although, when i told them to stop, William and another host at the concierge was fun and comped us some meal tickets. Friends of ours were not offered resort credits as promised, but finally got them. The rooms were spacious, but the layout of the resort building for guests is atrocious. We faced an open parking lot with a car wash rental return right below us.....you can hear the machines running until late at night. You park in the garage but no elevator at the end of the building to get to your room....you have to hike the entire length of the building to get your things upstairs, and only 2 of the 4 elevators were working (nightmare waiting for an elevator). When we checked out there were NO carts to take our stuff down as most guest hoarded the carts in their rooms. We called front desk several times, took an hour or more and hotel staff showed up with a dolly. By then we had spent the better part of an hour hiking back and forth to load our stuff up when leaving! Stairs lead you down and out the building, so in terms of safety, not a ton of stairways for the amount of people. The pool was crowded and it was hard to get loungers. The lazy river was marginal at best and extremely crowded. At one point several kids got their feet cut on something in the lazy river (one right in front of me). Food was expensive (but was okay tasting) and the shuttle to downtown shuts down at 8 pm...
.. far earlier than most people want to return. I cant give this place more than a 2 star rating. Hotel cleaning staff did not want us to grab towels from the cart, we were told we needed to make a formal request at front desk. Some cleaning staff were extremely nice and tried to help, but didnt have the resources. Bummer Tahiti Village you can do better.

Great Place to get away!
Pros:

Great facility, only negative is that we had to repack and change rooms after our first night do to an ant and flying ant infestation in the wall between the kitchen and bathroom.

Don't just book 1 night..
Pros:

Let me start off by saying this was our first time here and we only booked for 1 night stay.. Check in time is ridiculous late. Was at the property at 3:50 pm only to meet a giant line if people waiting to check in. But the time we were checked in, found a parking spot and got our bags to the room it was pushing 5:30, 5:45 pm. Then when we got our kids some food to eat real quick and dressed for the lazy river pool it was around 6:30 pm and starting to get cold outside. This led to us going being in the lazy river for about 15 minutes because our children got too cold. And that's was our whole staycation... 15 minutes in the water. A whole $200+ staycation for one day sorry one night. The only real positive thing I could say was the room was wonderful.

Pros:

Unit was a nice size, pool is very nice and the location isn't an issue because they offer a free shuttle to the strip. Would stay again.

Will not go back!
Pros:

The Tahiti Village resort was good in itself but some of our experiences were not. We attended their resort sales presentation, and their representative (Christine H.), was extremely rude, very pushy and confrontational. She didn't want to take no for an answer. Mohamed and William R. at the concierge’s desk were awesome and very professional.

Kid friendly with a shuttle
Pros:

We went there with a kid had a perfect room that you could close it off so they could sleep while we planned out our day. The kitchen with a full-size kitchen was perfect for being there for a week and we could order our groceries in. It also had a shuttle to and from The strip.

Fantastic Spring Break Location
Pros:

We spent a few days of our spring break trip with two elementary age kids at Tahiti village. It was truly a top notch experience! The pool was fantastic and even with spring break level guests it did not feel crowded and there were always plenty of chairs available. Towels beach balls and floats were readily available. The staff from checkin through the duration of the stay were friendly and helpful.

The room was very spacious. We ate at the bar restaurant one night and service was quick and the nachos were yummy.

The shuttle to the strip is a nice convenience as well. Overall we had a great stay and I would definitely return!

Could have been better
Pros:

This lodging is a great location, quiet and relaxing. We were here for a work vacation, and it "could" have worked out. Unfortunately, they put us in tower 5 where there was a huge water leak, repairs and pounding going on, painting going on next door, and the loss of hot water for two days. Housekeeping never came, so we asked front desk to bring up supplies which took a day to get. BUT, the one bedroom space was large. We had a very clean king sized bedroom, a full kitchen, a nice living area to work in, washer/dryer in the unit, and a balcony facing the airport (haha). The pool was opened but the lazy river was not. We ignored their pleas for a "welcome gift" because we didn't have time to listen to their sales pitch. The shuttle took us to Excalibur which was in the middle of the strip. We rented a car for a day, so we just walked over to the rental lot which is a good 15 minute walk. People were very nice; we felt safe in the area. Not sure we'd be back again?

Mixed feelings about the resort
Pros:

Had mixed feelings about our 7 day stay. 1st room we stayed in had water all over the floor from a leaking dishwasher so we were moved. The new room we got the A/C did not cool so someone had to come fix all 3 units and it took 24 hours for the room to finally cool down. 2 days later the water went out of the entire building (5) for over 5 hours and our hot water did not come on until the next day in the evening. We were told to just run the water for 20 minutes & the hot would start working but it never did. Water was never hot, just warm so we dealt with it. The final issue, after we checked out we got a charge of $168. I had to call last night to see why we were charged as we traded thru RCI. I did talk to a nice helpful manager who said we were incorrectly billed and there would be a credit but would take 3 to 4 days. He said there was a $79 amenities fee which we were not told when we checked in. Not sure what amenity fee was for as the lazy river was closed and pool closed at 4pm. Rooms are nice size and pretty updated. The potential is there and overall those that worked there were kind and helpful.

AVOID TIMESHARE PRESENTATION
Pros:

The resort is decent (well-maintained rooms, nice lazy river-though pool is kid-loud with no real adult option). But the "free" stay promo? Total trap. Would've cost ~$370 for 4 nights booked normally-skip this nightmare.

Set a 2-hour timer. Vanessa was mostly nice to hook us, then turned rude, sarcastic, and disrespectful:

• Dodged bottom-line cost for 90k points/year, snapped "Don't tell me how to do my job" when I asked directly.

• When I said the points spiel made my eyes glaze, she mocked: "Do you have ADHD?" Claimed it was a "joke." Later asked my wife, "Is he always like this?"

• Started at $55k, dropped to $17k (others got $12k offers)—classic pressure. We said no; they still forced us to wait for a third closer, holding our credit card with a $700 no-show threat.

Timer hit 2 hours—we'd done our part. They demanded a "survey" and final sign-off, claiming
"you're part of the marketing plan."

Only after I pushed hard did they rush it. Released at 2:05—miserable experience.

Bottom line: Manipulative, time-wasting, emotionally draining. Resort OK via Expedia;
timeshare pitch is predatory with personal insults when you resist. DO NOT GO-save your vacation.

Great until it wasn’t…
Pros:

Such a nice place! Spacious living and kitchen areas. Great patio and a fabulous heated pool. We didn’t love alarms on a Sunday afternoon and NO water Monday mid-day. Our plans were flexible so we left early. Lyft drivers seemed confused where to drop off (parking garage at midnight- no thanks). Shuttle is nice but stops at 8PM

Worst hotel stay ever
Pros:

If I could give this place negative stars I would. Not only was our room disgusting but the staff were rude. I had to ask several times for the credit that came with my room. We were told only a single additional blanket was available for us. To top it all off, we got stuck in an elevator for 30 minutes. Had twocall the fire department because there was no phone to help call in an emergency and very little phone reception. We almost missed my daughter‘s cheer competition.
I’m particularly infuriated because of the lack of safety. I did see that they were working on the elevator the day before, but the fact that there was no emergency call button inside of the elevator is beyond me. I’d recommend staying at an alternate hotel. The safety here is subpar.

Traveling with kids
Pros:

I stayed with my kids ages 11-3 and it was really nice. They have a sky view that the kids loved to play in the big lounge room during the day. Also they have a kids play and craft room that is opening until 9pm, we went their for scheduled crafts. They were really well done. The workers offered supplies and direction on making key chains, wind chimes, tot bags and more...but also whenever the kids got antsy in our room we would just go the the playroom to play games, watch a movie and use the toys. We played corn hole and ping pong outside in-between the pools. We loved the pizza and shakes at Arturo's and walks around the resort were really nice with all the palm trees. We went in Feb so it was a little chilly, but the kids still loved the heated sandy beach pool and family hot tub. I was nervous traveling with kids, but we stayed at the resort the whole time and didnt get bored. I would stay there again.

Outstanding retreat
Pros:

Stayed for a week, from check in to check out everything was amazing. The resort has all the amenities you need, restaurant/bar, coffee shop, outstanding pizza and ice cream shop. The concierge desk was very helpful, William and Mohammed took care of all of our requests. The pool, which I thought the water would be cold, was heated to 85 degrees. We had a full kitchen, one bedroom suite with a king size bed. To my surprise there was a shower with a steamer and a bathtub/whirpool. The kitchen had it all, the only thing would add is an air fryer. The resort has a shuttle that takes you to a close by supermarket twice a week. The shuttle also has daily schedule for tripstrasportation to the strip and back.

Top Notch Easy and Comfortable
Pros:

My daughter and I came down to attend a UNLV weekend event and this location was so perfect. The customer service was so warm, friendly, helpful and consistent! I loved everything about this experience and we have already booked our next trip and stay with Tahiti Village. I am absolutely bummed I didn't figure out how awesome it was long ago.

Disappointed
Pros:

I love tihiti but I would never stay in a 1/2 kitchen again. No washer/dryer, tub shower not like full kitchens and I know we have stayed in different rooms and have never had one like this. Couch in 1/2 kitchen with TV, not comfortable, not cozy. Bedroom is the only window. Its like a glorified hotel room and this time no one was helpful which is very disappointing, as we consider tihiti like family and no phone number we were given was helpful. Not tihiti style, I sing praises everytime I come, but this room is very sad! I wish we would have booked elsewhere this time if this was only choice. No one was accommodating and its like no one we were given a number from RCI/Summerset cared, only at local level was anyone understanding, but their hands were tied This time they dont have my recommendation for this type of room.

Just Ok, needs work
Pros:

We stayed for five nights, Sunday to Friday. The cons included; WiFi didn’t work in main bedroom 5351 and barely in 5349.
No working fan in bathroom. Windows did not open in the room.
Very poor building number signage.
Didn’t respond to text answering simple ?. They initiated text upon checkin so don’t bother if you won’t be using texts to respond.
Tv in living room wouldn’t work. Maybe a remote problem.
No hot water in bathroom sink: maintenance came but it didn’t last. Other bathroom in main bedroom no cold water in sink.

Pros: Plenty of towels at pool, nice hot tub for adults, front desk friendly. Mostly clean room with a little wear. Steamer in shower was cool.
