We love the River Inn!
Pros:

Rooms are quite large, with small well- supplied kitchens. We had a sofa. The bed was very comfortable. Great TV channels.
We were actually there 6 nites.
River Inn is close to GWU and a Metro station.
The staff was exceptional- very friendly and knowledgeable.

And the Italian restaurant was excellent!!!

Cons:

It was too far from Constitution Hall but you can get a taxi!

Pros:

Die Lage ist perfekt, ruhige Strasse mit vielen Bäumen, das Hotel liegt zwischen Georgetown und Regierungsviertel, alles zu Fuss erreichbar. Grosses schönes Zimmer.

Pros:

Location was superb for us.. close to Georgetown but not too far from rest of D.C. We liked this. Rooms were far more upscale than I thought they would be for the price. The location is on a great tree lined street in a fabulous neighborhood. Felt like we had our own home for the weekend. Of course those looking for the buffet breakfast, it’s not there. I will stay here when I go to DC as it is the kind of place one is drawn back to. A pleasant surprise!

Unbelievably Helpful and the Best Location
Pros:

We arrived several hours early in the pouring rain. Najwah was so nice and accommodated us early. When I mentioned it was my birthday, she gave me little chocolates. Saif helped with our bags and valet and helped us with local coffee recommendations and the best routes to take for our sightseeing. Service was exceptional, room was spacious, and the neighborhood is absolutely darling and an easy walk to all of the sights. Would definitely stay there on my next visit

I will never stay anywhere else
Pros:

It sounds like an exaggeration, but I will never stay anywhere else when I travel to Washington DC. The River Inn is a classic hidden gem, on a quiet street yet accessible to anywhere you want to go via the nearby Metro (or an Uber or your valeted car). The staff are friendly and the all-suites format is ideal for a comfortable stay. That this is a home away from home is more than a motto!

Die Betten waren sehr bequem. DIe Lage war gut. Es gab eie Metrostation, die man fussläufig innerhalb von 5 Minuten erreichen konnte.

Good hotel at a very convenient location.
Pros:

Convenient location. Walking distance to Georgetown and its various eateries. 5 minutes walk to Metro station for easy access to the airport or Amtrak station. Supermarkets (Trader Joes) was only minutes away. The room also came with a fully equipped kitchen which allowed us to prepare simple dinner after a day out.

Cons:

The air conditioner in the room was quite noisy.

Pros:

The suite was beautifully furnished with bright windows. It’s well located and an easy walk to the Kennedy Center, Lincoln Memorial, George Washington University, and grocery stores/restaurants. It’s in a quaint neighborhood of brownstone houses.
