Would stay again.
Breakfast and happy hour were nice. The activities at happy hour were a great touch. Location is excellent- central to lots of attractions. No dresser in room and only two hangers along with plastic cups made the room a little less comfortable, but the robes were nice. I do recommend this hotel.
We absolutely enjoyed our stay at the Marshal House. We had a room with a balcony and loved spending time out there! The staff were all wonderful, helpful, kind and friendly.
Loved the breakfast and the wine event with music.
We will stay there again and recommend to all our friends. You have beautiful hotel and we felt at home.
Our nicely decorated, large room with two queen beds had a lovely updated bathroom. The B&B was clean and offered a delicious homemade breakfast, served at tables. The complimentary wine and cheese hour included entertainment each night and service was amazing. Bottled water, coffee and tea were always available. The location of this beautiful inn was perfect for walking all over the Historic District or accessing the trolleys. Lots of food choices and shops on Broughton St. (And we did not encounter any ghosts!). An overall wonderful stay.
Excellent location for walking around historic district. Loved sitting on the 2nd floor porch.
The hotel was very historic and clean. It had afternoon cheese and wine and some entertainments.
The breakfast could have been better, choose to eat elsewhere.
We stayed on 3rd floor, in the middle of the night there was alot of noise coming from room above several days in a row We were told it was the ghost ?
Great accommodations that are close to tourist sights and the waterfront.
The Marshall House was very nice and we loved our time there.
All great
Walking distance to lots of restaurants and little shops.
Great historical hotel. Breakfast and evening wine and cheese was great. Room hvac was pretty loud when it turned on.
The room was very clean and big. The staff was geat and very friendly. The location was perfect. Breakfast was excellent. I would definately go back.
The hotel was beautiful, clean and charming.
Staff was warm and welcoming.
The information that was available describing the facility and what it offers was very accurate and we enjoyed all of it.
Great location
Very good staff
Friendly
Entertainment water and breakfast a nice touch
Though the choice of food a bit boring
Lovely historic hotel! Service was full of southern hospitality. A very charming experience
My sister and I stayed for my birthday. The staff are above and beyond excellent they took time to share stories and make as comfortable as possible.. we were in 205 where we had access to the veranda.lovley place to sit and very peaceful..had valet parking checked car in upon arrival and never really needed to get it back till we left. ($86$) Was the charge . A lil steep but worth it cuz I wouldn't wanna try and drive there . Everything was within walking distance. Had some ghostly experiences nothing to scary . But could probably be explained away if we tried to debunk it. But we were there to relax and have a good time and we most definitely did.. the complimentary breakfast was really cool the overall hotel was nice very historic lay out . Was amazing how they tried to keep as much as possible to it's true state. Careful of the uneven floors and the steep stairs. I even joked that it was built to keep you off balance. Felt like the whole building was out of level well actually the whole town nothing seemed level lol. Was hard to keep my bearings but once I got accustom to it all was great. .. I didn't get to take many pics cuz my phone would not hold a charge!
DEFINITELY WILL STAY AGAIN. If your looking for hospitality this is a place to be. It's like staying staying with family .CON: was the people on the street asking for money.. Approaching us every time we went out . Not that I didn't want to help but I don't carry cash. Heartbreaking to see so many homeless.
Really cool old south vibe. Lobby and reception area especially. Very good staff, breakfast was great. Perfect fir exploring the historic area of Savananh.
We really enjoyed how central this hotel was to everything. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. We loved the water bottles that we were provided with daily. I would recommend this property greatly.
It’s the best from the gal Patty as the valet to the front desk to the story teller at a complimentary happy hour to our wonderful superior king room to a wonderful breakfast the following morning in a beautiful atrium to check out and our thank you’s to all. We have been here 3 times and promise to return.
