Good location , decent clean room , very good breakfast . Expensive .
Pros:

Excellent breakfast . Especially the lady who kept everything stocked , cleaned etc etc 👍
Decent size room .

Cons:

Rather expensive for what we got . I know Santa Barbara is expensive but anywhere else it would be very overpriced.
Went across to sister hotel for our early breakfast on departure , but the lady in charge was very rude and refused to let us have anything because we were 20 mins early even though everything was out ready !!
We had paid for breakfast .
Bathroom could do with a bit of an update . Not too bad though .

Great hotel great staff and SUPER COMFY beds.
Pros:

Brilliant hotel with incredibly comfy beds. Looks like it’s recently had a makeover too as rooms had usb and usb c adapters. Free parking and staff very friendly and helpful. We were travelling with our 7 month old so got a baby travel cot provided too which was great.

Regardless, we did enjoy our stay.
Pros:

Friendly staff. Close to the wharf area. Late afternoon wine and cheese refreshments offered.

Cons:

From the photos and site descriptions, we expected higher quality and newer facilities. Although staff said the rooms were newly renovated, it didn’t appear to be very recent. No mirror other than the one in the bathroom. Another mirror in the main room would be helpful for more than one person getting ready in the morning. Only one chair in the room. Two would have been nicer. Ants were noticed in the unit.

Charming property with nice amenities
Pros:

Very friendly staff. Clean and well kept up. The continental breakfast was good. It was very walkable to restaurants and the harbor. Lovely wine and cheese reception in the evening.

Great location and beautiful property a bit pricey.

Cons:

We continually had problems with our room keys. Room 239. The first night I stayed, I was locked out of my room. I didn't see the sign on the door that mentioned going to the sister hotel in case of any problems. I didn't have my glasses with me. I paid for the room, but I didn't get to stay in it. I was disappointed with that and tried to discuss it with Sam, but we did not resolve. I would suggest that you inform all patrons immediately that your lobby is closing and then instruct them on what to do if they encounter any issues. It was an expensive stay, and I missed a night in the room due to the key issue. I had to spend the night with college students. That was not fun. The room also had an odor that was not pleasant. We had to air it out and keep the windows open.

It was perfect and I’d definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family.
Pros:

We got married during our stay and they upgraded our room free of cost. Which my wife and I appreciated so much. The property is so beautiful and it’s located near downtown SB. I only booked this place because they have a jacuzzi and it did not disappoint. I loved that they had several options for breakfast. Their staff was very helpful and kind.

Cons:

It was a little loud in the morning but nothing too crazy.

Comfortable room with nicely remodeled bathroom. The morning breakfast was "nice" but limited.
Friendly staff. Helpful with local information. A 3 star hotel with a 4 star overall presentation.

Cons:

Delayed check in as the room wasn't ready. No bathroom to use in the lobby area and had to use the bathroom as the sister hotel next door.

Above expectations - would stay again.
Pros:

We booked this as a last minute stay and were very pleasantly surprised. The rooms were a good size and clean and tidy. The property itself was lovely. We didn't use the pool but sat by it for a morning coffee. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Cons:

The only downside for us was that we couldn't watch any of our streaming services. After a day out we enjoy relaxing and watching a tv show so it was unfortunate that we couldn't do that.
