Health & Fitness Club: Access to the Health and Fitness Club operated by 1Life is free. However, the spa facilities, including the outdoor Hydrotherapy pool, incur an additional charge for a 3-hour session. Booking is required in advance.
Fitness Club: Children may use the indoor pool only during designated family swim times.
Check-In: Upon arrival, please proceed to Drift Inn reception for self-check-in using the kiosks.
Breakfast: Served from 07:00 to 09:00 on weekdays and from 08:00 to 10:00 on weekends and bank holidays.
Group Bookings: We do not accept group bookings of more than 9 rooms.
Payments: Drift Inn does not accept third-party payments or advance payments within 3 days of arrival.
Café-Bar Closure: The Gravel Pit Café-Bar will close from 13:00 on December 31st for preparation of our New Year's Eve Gala, exclusive to package guests.
Payment Process Updates (Effective March 2025):
- Prepayment: For reservations with a balance due at check-in, please ensure payment is completed at least 72 hours before arrival. For last-minute bookings, payments can be made on arrival via chip and pin.
- Dining Payments: Meal allowances will no longer be accepted. Payments for meals can be made directly at the resort.
- Pay-As-You-Go System: We are replacing bedroom accounts with a pay-as-you-go system for food, drinks, and extras. Bill-back will only cover the booked rate.

Couldn't work out the vibe of the hotel. Felt a little impersonal and generic.
Drinks were somewhat overpriced in the bar.
Wasn't very clear what to do when arriving for dinner reservation. Wasn't expecting to have to order at the bar.
Food choice at the restaurant was a bit limited. Burger or pizza.
It’s a nice location, with a nice golf course. It’s a nice place to have a few drinks around the lake in the sun!

Food was okay too.
Having no aircon in the rooms was unbearable. They leave a fan which does not cool down the room, it fans warm air around the room. What makes it so much worse is the heat from the bathroom mirror. It’s like a constant full wack radiator that you can never turn off. It was so uncomfortably hot, when in the toilet/shower, or having the door open. If you close the door, then it’s horrendous when you next walk in, so you cannot win!
The games they offer around the bar are so expensive it’s ridiculous, it’s £25 an hour for shuffleboard or darts.
You must book the spa before you go, preferably a week before, because it’s always fully booked up. We didn’t know this before hand, so paid for 2 nights here, and had no morning golf available, or no spa times at all available.
The leisure facilities you get to use are as big as a kids swimming pool. Also they run kids swimming classes throughout the day, so you only have certain slots you can use it.

Pleasant smell in reception, and helpful staff
Dodgy noisy aircon, hot stuffy room, roller ball catch on bathroom door that made opening and closing the door VERY noisy. People in room below us were very loud/arguing/and slamming doors repeatedly.
Private and resort style, plenty of things to see and do.
We didn’t get a bath in our room but staff did try for us but we opted for the room we were given.
Great location for where I needed to be.
The staff were rude, abrasive and unhelpful. I stay in hotels pretty much every week. None of the check in tablets were working and there was no one available at the check in desk for 20 minutes. When they did turn up, the staff were rude and blamed the technology. They had no idea how to give customer care. They accused me of being impatient and there was no apology. When one spends £130 (around that number), there is an expectation that staff will be friendly and pleasant and a customer would be welcomed. It was also clear the two staff members had been outside vaping hence the delay in checking me on. I won’t be staying there again.

The employees were fantastic very helpful polite and friendly happy staff very accommodating!..The facilities and accommodation was very clean & nice and modern. we had really nice stay and would definitely stay here again..and would definitely recommend this place as it more than suited our needs while visiting family in this location..Thank You to your team for making our stay very pleasant and we will see you again soon..

I was charged twice for my stay and there is still a refusal to refund me.
Good location and facilities.
Despite the car park being quite full, the rooms were quiet. Great to have a magnifying mirror as standard in the room - not many hotels have these. The addition of the sofa in the twin room was nice.
Extra large bed, lots of space, staff were super friendly and helpful. Cant fault this place, will definitely be returning when we visit friends as the atmosphere was great!
