The facility in general was nice. The staff were friendly and helpful. Almost everywhere was very clean. The room in general met our expectations. Beds were comforty. Bathroom was very clean. Spa was one of the reasons of our choice and it was very beautiful to enjoy pond and the sauna.
The heating system was too noisy. We have changed our initial room with a so called better option as the first room was too noisy because of the heating/cooling system. We thought it was broken or had some sort of malfunction, but the new room had similar issues so we could not, literally, sleep until morning because of the noise caused by the heating system. Although i turned it off, it kept working and turned our night to a disaster. This was the only, yet an important, problem with the place. This is the only question that will affect our decision for a possible another trip to this facility.
We stayed in the Croft accommodation and it was quite private having our own hot tub and beautiful cedars to look at also enjoyed hiking the grounds, very peaceful and relaxing environment.
The Croft accommodations are tucked a little bit away from the main Hydro pool with a fence that unfortunately, you can’t access unless you go around to the entry of the spa a little bit inconvenient when you’re in a robe and sandals! The Day Spa clients can use the change rooms and go right in from there.
the rmts were great
the spa reception was sad, didnt want to be there. We were looking at product and she didnt offer to assist, we didnt purchase anything due to this
The spa change area was dirty, towels were poor quality
The jets outside hot pool were low
wet dirty towels left everywhere
the indoor pool space feels sad, needs a bright coat of paint and some beautiful plants
Pillows in room were old, very soft, no hand soap in room, shelving in room and outside of room had paint chips everywhere, the place is historic and beautiful but needs a facelift.
We have been here several times and it continues to lack lustre. For what we pay a night, the place should be a bit more presentable, it didnt feel clean. Its a beautiful property, not sure whats happening there.
Food was great. Rooms were large, and the spa facilities were nice.
Needs more parking closer to the main building
The hotel room was very nice, clean and comfortable. I enjoyed the spa and massage service I received. The outdoor amenities are nice.
I didn't like the restaurant or food options/quality of food. I found it overpriced for what I got, They can use more restaurant options. I'd recommend add a modernized cafe and expanding/adding to the current restaurants. The restaurants could also use renovations.
Very well maintained
Nothing we loved it
Spa was good, had a massage and it was just what I needed.
Room was so cosy; love the extra thick and luxurious robes.
Room service was tasty but I found it to be very pricey for a soup and salad.
Regular pools and whirlpools needed to be hotter.
Gym was not stocked with paper towels or spray that I could use to wipe down the equipment I used. I had to search in the cupboard for stock. Another guest that was in the gym with me used paper towels from the ladies washroom.
Never saw property. Our room was cancelled just 2 hours before check in. We had to find another hotel. No consolation was given
Private hot tub in The Crofts, dinner was delicious at Head Waters. Staff was friendly.
Hot springs definitely were more just like big hot tubs. Not a very natural vibe. The pool area was very hotel pool, not overly spa-like. But we had a lovely time.
Friendly staff, magical place.
I loved it.
Room was comfortable and spacious. I loved the under-floor heated bathroom. Location was lovely, nice walks, spa facilities were lovely. Shame the weather didn't always comply.
Some parts of the property are in decline, some repairs needed to outside of windows/screens.
We have been at the Inn numerous times and it never disappoints. I look forward to my next visit. I do like the new interactive communication via text.
Amazing rooms, fireplace was phenomenal
The shower head wasn't great, but it was sufficient.
Horrible experience , and it was the chosen hotel for wedding guests.
Plan to be in touch with management. More issues than I care to list, highly recommend NOT staying here.
The pools at the spa were great, and the grounds were beautiful.
some noisy guests.
Very relaxing
Staff could be a bit friendlier
