When we got to the room it was a nice room, comfy bed
The room was ok, it was a little dirty, there was only one set of towels in the bathroom.
When we checked in the man at the front desk was extremely nice! Room was very clean and comfortable! Breakfast was good 😊
Location
Price, could not watch television, internet was down. Breakfast was disappointing.
This was the worst Hampton hotel I have ever stayed at. The bathroom was gross mold growing in the shower. The shower was so gross that we did not even feel comfortable taking a shower. Toilet was dirty, toilet paper holder not hanging on the wall. Drywall damage in the bathroom. Whoever is in charge of this place clearly does not care. Save your money and go to a different hotel.
Location was ok. Staff was ok. Breakfast wasn't the greatest.
A small trash can in the bathroom was the ONLY trash can. I had a suite and when asked about another trash can I was told only one per room so the small trash was it and couldn't get to it when someone was using the bathroom. The breakfast could have been better. Muffins were like powder and no taste. I would have liked biscuits and gravy. Also sausage would have been nice. And eggs not in a cheese omelette. The waffles was the nicest thing about a breakfast.
Also I ask for a receipt.. she said she couldn't because I booked through a third party company I guess it's called. But all my other stays before I arrive there had no problem with that. Bathrooms in lobby were not the cleanest.
Not having a hot tub was very disappointing.
Breakfast was good, area kept clean and neat
Need to put some sort of lights at entrance the drive in. Very, very hard to see after dark and there is no turn lame.
We enjoyed our stay
Rooms were clean and staff was friendly and helpful. Bathroom fixture was extremely wobbly. Air conditioning was noisy. Just an average property. It was nothing special.
Everything was great, it was just a bit hot in the lobby
Very nice, comfortable hotel.
I was moving out of the Edwardsville area last weekend and needed a place to stay while I boxed up my stuff and packed my moving truck. This location was the closest Hilton-affiliated hotel, and despite the reviews, I decided to give it a shot. Let me tell ya, as an airline captain I stay in a LOT of hotels, 120 nights per year. Often, a hotel will miss the mark on one or two things, and you roll with the punches—this hotel missed it on just about everything. Upon checking into a room, the first thing I do is give the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash bottles a pump to make sure they’re filled. These things are a joke, and all single stream bottles should be removed and go back to mini plastic bottles. Way too often, the maids are too lazy to check these, and since it’s impossible to ever see if they’re full, I’ve been burned way too many times in the middle of taking a shower only to discover they are empty. Sure enough, no shampoo. So back to the front desk I go. My mom didn’t get halfway through her shower and the body wash was completely empty. She had to use the bar soap for hand/face from the sink to finish. Back to the front desk I go yet again. The front desk clerk apologized and offered a full room cleaning the next day. Well the next day after sending the moving truck off and exhausted from cleaning, we get to the room only to discover it was NEVER cleaned, despite a PROMISE it would be. The same desk clerk was working who said she put the order in, but “it’s not the first time” housekeeping has ignored her requests. We then wanted to sit in the hot tub after a hard day at work. Pictures provided by the hotel itself (not by guests) on TripAdvisor as well as Hilton’s own website clearly show a hot tub. But it was drained. No caution tape around it, no “sorry, out of order” sign. Just bone dry. When I asked, I was told it had been like that for six months. What a joke! False advertising. We then tried sitting around the indoor pool with a cocktail and the gnats were so bad from air conditioner issues and moss leeching into the pool breeding bugs that we went back up to our room. Additional issues were that the sink that was so loose the entire assembly moved four inches every time you turned the water handle on her off. And the toilet paper holder was broken and the toilet paper would fall off and land on the floor every time you try to use it. The only—and I mean ONLY—good thing about this hotel was the breakfast, which met Hampton Inn standards. Not only would I never stay here again, but I would never recommend this hotel to even my worst enemy. It was horrible. Please, avoid this hotel at all costs. There is a Comfort Inn on the north side of the interstate I would stay at if ever visiting the area again.
Breakfast was good, a lot of variety.
Service was excellent. Staff was friendly and helpful especially Heather that worked the breakfast bar. The room was clean but very worn. The shower had hard water build that looked bad but it was clean. There was cracks in the shower wall the bathroom sink spout was very loose. The carpet was very worn. Shower door fell off. It was a place to sleep but was definitely not what I was expecting for $250.00 per night.
The location is great because it right next to the highway. The rooms, lobby, and gathering area was ver clean. The only thing that was unique is there was only one trash can located in the bathroom and it was extremely small. For a 2 day stay it was very full veey quickly.
Excellent stay
No Netflix or YouTube on tv…hard to operate tv
Nice hotel except overall cleanliness lacking. From long black hairs folded in “clean” towels and clogging the drain that I cleaned out to room floor not vacuumed, old food and trash found in dresser drawer, stains on the bedding, unsafe pool area conditions.
the one day we stayed there, I think that they had a little issue with housekeeping. the front desk clerk handled the situation.
