Jacuzzi was out of service. No Continental Breakfast?
Very clean, safe location, air condition worked great!!!
I stayed at this hotel tonight and was very disappointed with how the staff handled their pet policy. I travel often for both business and pleasure and have always had great experiences at other Hilton locations, including one just last week that was extremely pet‑friendly. They welcomed pets, and many guests had them. The atmosphere and attitude there were completely different.
At this location, I paid the pet fee and signed a list of reasonable rules — including the standard one that pets aren’t allowed in the on‑site restaurant. Since most restaurants don’t allow pets, that rule makes perfect sense. But then I was told I couldn’t leave my dog unattended in the room, an unwritten and unexpected rule I had never encountered at any Hilton. This created a genuine guest dilemma: how exactly was I supposed to get dinner while keeping my pet with me?
I understand that policies can sometimes conflict with one another — that happens. But what made this situation unacceptable was the dismissive attitude of both the manager and the clerks. Instead of helping me navigate an unwritten rule that put me in an impossible position, they offered unrealistic suggestions that someone traveling and unfamiliar with the area couldn’t reasonably follow, and made snide remarks rather than trying to assist.
Because the rule wasn’t written anywhere, they eventually allowed me to leave my chihuahua in the room as long as he didn’t disturb anyone. Still, the experience was disappointing enough that I canceled my reservation scheduled for two weeks later. Enforcing policies is one thing, but making light of a guest’s dilemma caused by an unwritten rule — and responding with dismissive customer service — is simply poor hospitality.
