The duty staff where really great as we where stuck in Picton waiting for a ferry,

great location. really nice room good facility

Cons:

we where on the 3rd floor and the entrance to our room was outside. It was very windy, the connecting door shut and no one on this floor could open it had to use fire escape. also there was a Hugh gap under the door and the wind roared through it was so strong that the towel we stuffed under the door got blown away. then the power went out and the poor man on duty was really out of his depth. no restaurant and could not recommend anywhere ?

The convenience to ferry service and town

Noisey, not sure if the restaurant was the cause as after that closed the fan or mechanical noise stopped. bed was atrocious definitely needed new ones in room 318. In our bathroom there was hair on the walls I’m guessing from someone drying their hair but it hadn’t been cleaned. We left early due to ferry crossing, there was no box left out as the reception stated there would be we had to leave it on the desk which felt uncertain. Overall a below average stay

Quality of the room, poor condition, urgently needs an upgrade. Wall paper ripped, someone removed something from the shower wall and left the double sided foam tape on, very tacky (desolve it would have removed it) doors and cupboard doors desperate need of paint to cover chips. We paid $240 per night for a room, had better for <$138.00 I believe I was ripped off. Only one chair to sit on. Room was a good size.
