Glad it was only one night.
Pros:

Great staff and location. Clean.

Cons:

Overly fragranced in the room...like they were trying to compensate for other smells. Water temperature for sink and shower were not reliable. Bedroom did not have it's own fan for temperature control.

Cons:

Difficult to maneuver luggage carts across curbs from car to building. Dishwasher broken. Front desk staff working on dos antiquated software unable to.process a receipt.

Pros:

We didn’t get the chance to stay at this property because it over booked. They did provide us a new location at a different hotel - but we were told we’d get a refund for the room at the original property & they would cover the night cost at the property they were sending us to.. we have yet to be refunded as promised…

Pros:

Very nice, very clean. Had a room with kitchenette and it was well stocked. Bed was great. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Nice indoor pool and the exercise room was also very clean and nice- as well.

Cons:

First night we were in a room where the A/C was not working, but they gave us a new room with working A/C that was larger and nicer at an even better rate for the next night.
The water is too soft for me, it's hard to tell when the soap is washed off when it's like that

Awesome Stay!!!
Pros:

All workers were very helpful & accommodating. The room was bigger than expected & the beds were comfortable. Very clean room & enough space to open all 5 suitcases. Room was dark to allow us to sleep in. The shower nozzle is really nice.

A very uncomfortable stay!
Pros:

The only thing positive I really have to say about the location is the staff. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I felt bad for them because I think they were trying to do their best at a location that is obviously failing to live up to the Marriott standards.

Cons:

There were numerous problems with the location. My first, and biggest complaint, is that there was prostitution activity occurring at the hotel. We were in town for a high school barbecue competition, and there were numerous high schoolers who traveled to Kansas City for this event. The prostitution activity was blatantly visible and made the stay very uncomfortable. In addition, the odor of marijuana could be smelled throughout the hotel. I understand that it is legal in Kansas City, but people who don’t smoke marijuana do not want to smell it in their hotel rooms. The breakfast had limited options and wasn’t of the greatest quality. Our room, although clean, was starting to wear out and needed to be updated. The bathtub was so worn that the enamel had come off and the bottom was starting to rust. There were also other maintenance issues with exterior doors at various parts of the facility.
