Ubicación y desayuno
De la habitación me faltó un cargador para el smart watch y no hicieron nada al respecto. Sugiero guardar todo bajo llave
We just got back from our Charleston trip, amazing as always. This is the second time we’ve stayed at the Andrew Pinckney Inn. I will say the first time, our room was a lot better. It was on the first floor. This time we stayed on the third floor. Our shutters were broken, it didn’t have the historic feel of the first room. It did, however, have more character. As in characters that come in the middle of the night. I thought about not adding this, because it’s unbelievable. I don’t think I would believe it myself if someone told me this story. The first night we were there, it was around 2:30am, we felt something tapping on the bed, like pushing down on it several times. We weren’t sure what to think. The next night, I’m up at 2:36am to use the restroom. I’m going back to bed, and I feel terrified all of a sudden. I did not want to go back to my side of the bed at all, so I climbed back in from the bottom, telling myself I’m crazy the whole time. I settle back in the bed on my side, with an arm on top of the blanket. I’m trying to get myself settled down so I can go back to sleep. Suddenly, something starts tapping my arm, over and over again. I thought it was my husband, but when I looked over, he was asleep on the other side of the king bed, fast asleep, on his side curled up in the opposite direction. The rest of our stay, we kept the lights on all night. On the first floor, nothing like that happened to us.
A lovely Inn with friendly staff. The breakfast is good and the Inn is well situated for exploring Charleston.
Everyone here was very professional, pleasant, and helpful, from the front desk, to the valets, to the breakfast servers. Our room was lovely, and though it was small, we minded that not at all. We requested a king bed and access by elevator, so we were put in the building across the street from the office. This is also the building with breakfast on the top floor. This building is across the street from parking, but the valet took our luggage to the room and picked it up when we left. Parking was an extra charge, but parking is at a premium in downtown Charleston, and it cost about the same at the inn as it would for a day in a lot. The inn is centrally located, so you can walk to most places downtown. We used Lyft to get to the waterfront, and this was probably cheaper and certainly more convenient than trying to park our car.
Centrally located and easy to access .
Nothing really we didn’t like .
Comfortable & great location
Breakfast
Fantastic location, clean/comfortable rooms, wine and cheese at night and a full breakfast in the morning.
Ubicación.
La bañera. Por más que sé que es de estilo, las cortinas en toda la circunferencia de la bañera hacía que la ducha fuese incómoda y pequeña. Ni hablar el ingreso a la misma para la gente mayor.
Location was perfect, room was pretty and very clean, it was a quiet area and we enjoyed the special moments for guests (pralines, wine/cheese).
The valets and those that hosted the wine/cheese hour were very friendly. The front desk staff was not very friendly when we went by the lobby during our stay. They barely looked up from their computer to say hello. A smile can go a long way. There was one front desk staff, however, that was very friendly even at 5:30 am when we left for our flight on Friday. I don't remember her name, but she was very helpful and had a bright personality.
Breakfast room is quite nice. Loction great.
We both NEVER hve slept in a bedroom or hotel room WITHOUT WINDOW.
The location was exceptional!
The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was nice.
Our room on the 3rd floor was located under the kitchen and it was loud at 5am when breakfast was being prepared. The hotel is small and does not have great sound proofing. For the price we paid, it was disappointing to not get a good nights sleep.
We asked to have our lamp fixed on the first day of a three day stay. It was never fixed.
The bed was fantastic, the location was perfect for us. The staff was good. Very nice stay in a beautiful city.
Good location, clean, good breakfast
We were upset that our room - a junior suite - didnt have a window, or rather frosted window on interior passage. There was no warning about this on booking.com. Staff didn’t seem happy. Coffee wasn’t good.
