Location - awesome, easy access to everything

The solarium, breakfasts, food - excellent.

We had a great time in Charleston and this hotel was key to making our vacation so relaxing.
Pros:

The location was great! Right in the middle of where we could walk everywhere. I will say I put over 23,000 steps on my Fitbit on the first full day. Breakfast was VERY good and our morning hostess was just the sweetest lady.

Cons:

The room had a desk and very uncomfortable chair next to the bed. It's an older building, so the room wasn't huge, but I would have much preferred a small night stand and comfy chair in which to read or watch TV. I was also a little dissappointed that Booking.com didn't tell me that the room rate went up during the week, so what I thought was about $340/night went to over $500/night for Friday night. The total you gave me was accurate, but there should be more clarity in the per-night quoted rate.

Pros:

Hotel was perfectly located. Room was spacious and clean. Wine and cheese at 4:00 was a nice touch and breakfast was well done with several choices.

Cons:

When we return for another visit we will request a room not on the first floor.

Pros:

The room was nice, amenities were available, we enjoyed the wine and cheese in the afternoon, staff very friendly

Cons:

No gym on the property, one room was right by the breakfast room so early in the morning I could hear all the noise from the setting up
