The Riverview Retreat, Corbett

Really enjoyed staying there. Whole staff was very friendly. Liked the folk music during high tea. Enjoyed playing in the swimming pool with kids and other sports like table tennis, carrom, chess. Cafeteria was also very good. Located on the bank of the river which had less water, so in the evening we could sit on the river stones and wash our feet in flowing water. All in all it was a great experience.

Food isn't that good and overly expensive ! Spa had fee services broken as well.

Location was pretty. Constant stinking smell in our family suite.

It was amazing. The deck on the riverside was the catch.

Dissapointing incheck. Amazons spa, best massage ive ever had.

Just to walk around the property. The walkways have beautiful landscaping with the fresh smell of Jasmine and other flowers. The breakfast and dinner buffet had a large selection of food.
We had a two bedroom cottage with a common living room and kitchen.
Bedroom was not as shown on the left.

Good resort with good fooding & hospitality

For this time leisure group disheartened me. I think it is more of a commercial hotel in a place like Jim Corbett. It lacks personalized services. Has a non professional approach. If a couple visits Jim Corbett for a break definetely in the evening the hotel has to become active to entertain guests as the hotel is the only place here for entertainment where we r staying. And here i felt absolutely stranded. I would suggest all pls do not expect much from them.

this is a beautiful hotel locate near river, very peaceful. food is good. staffs were very helpful.

Stayed there for two days.Rooms spacious and clean.Breathtaking view onto the river Kosi.Nice food though they could have a better variety at their brakefast for westerners.Wood come again...

Excellent hotel and service. The buffet was a tad expensive but the service and ambience was awesome. The fact that it has is adjacent to the Kosi river is a big plus point.

it was a 3 nite stay and i would like to recommend this hotel to all. front desk staff is really friendly, resort manager Mr. Bisht and Mr. Sanjay Chimmwal was personally taking care of the guests.food was excellent.

Dear Sir,
My experience at the time of check in has been extremely bad. It was very unprofessional on the part of Expedia that when I chose this resort from your website, it clearly said that the room would have three beds to sleep and two kids would be free.
After I made the booking and paid up, it gave me a receipt saying the booking is for just 2 adults.
With the result, this resort asked for Rs 2000 extra for 2 kids. Insipte of my showing them the printout of the option shown on your website that I had chosen to book, they were adamant and refused to cooperate.
This complete episode was really very frustrating and harassing for us as our whole idea of having a nice good holiday stay was shattered.
This is actually misrepresentation of facts on your website leading to the customer getting trapped for the package.
This kind of experience can really tarnish the image of Expedia since the harrased customers like us would never recommend your website to anyone in future.
I would now request you to immediately look into this complaint and instruct the resort to refund the amount charged wrongly.

On reaching the hotel we were welcomed by very courteous staff.welcome drink was served.Our luggage were shifted by them very properly.Staff was always there for us,very nice.Daily evenings there was cultural programs,the view,location the green surroundings and the fresh air,was superb.Keep it up.

Great place, great location, delicious food and extremely hospitable service.

Nice location but first room had garbage under the bed and many (over 15) strands of human hair on the bed. Changed room and it was cold. Took 3 attempts to get an electric fire to work? Not worth the rate

It was fantastic, They hotel is very beautiful, very nice lawn to play, swimming pool, river bank to spend leisure time. Greenery around the hotel is just perfect. I liked the cottages, rooms could have been little bigger but if you see the complete cottage, it balances out. Dining in the garden is a complete fun. One can enjoy the nature. I loved the wild life movie which the staff had played specially for us as the hotel has already 60 guests from a BPO company. I really appreciate the staff and their warn behaviour.
