I loved that they had a coffee shop inside the hotel. The access to the beach was great. The pool and jacuzzi were nice as well.

Very Disappointed in my stay here at Anderson Ocean Club and Spa. If I could give them zero stars I would. The hallways smelled like mold as soon as you get off of the elevator and in the room. But the bigger issue I experienced was I was awaken in the middle of the night 2am by what looked like a bed bug crawling on my back. I took a couple of videos and pics of the orange/reddish stains on the sheets. Guest services offered me another room because it was too late to be looking for another hotel alone. The next morning I shared my experience with the customer service manager and she filed a report and told me that they’ll need pest control to come out to test both rooms for bed bugs and that they’ll be in touch once the report is completed. Then they would decide if I will be compensated. A day goes by and they never called. I called them and spoke with the Director of CustomerService and she informed me that both rooms tested negative for bed bugs and there was nothing they could do. She was apologetic and promised that she’d send the final report. That never happened. I called again the next day looking for the “negative report” and was told none of the managers were available and that someone would call back. Again that never happened. I shared my videos with the pest control provider for my home and they indeed confirmed that it looked like a bed bug. Needless to say, I will Never book a room at this hotel again. I’ve stayed here before some years ago and the stay was much more pleasant. I am very disappointed. If you decide to stay here, check the sheets, under the mattress, bring your own bedding, towels if you want to feel more comfortable. Better yet, do yourself a favor and scroll past this hotel and get something better!

I’m extremely disappointed with my stay at Anderson Ocean Club Hotel & Spa. When we entered our room, there was visible mold present, which is completely unacceptable for any hotel—especially one that markets itself as a resort and spa experience.
What made this even more concerning is that I was traveling with my two-year-old child. Mold can pose serious health risks, particularly for young children, and the fact that this was present in our room immediately made me question the cleanliness and safety standards of the property.
I notified the staff right away and showed them the issue. While they acknowledged it, the only resolution offered was 20% off the stay and complimentary valet parking. Considering this was a health and sanitation concern—not just a minor inconvenience—the response felt dismissive and inadequate.
I expected a room change without hesitation or a much more serious effort to address the situation. Instead, it felt like they were trying to minimize the issue with a small discount.
Cleanliness and guest safety should be top priorities. Unfortunately, this experience fell far below expectations. I’ve attached a photo so others can see what we encountered
