Bargain priced hotel
Pros:

Bargain price hotel at the top of town. Plenty of free parking. Staff were very friendly

Super friendly staff, very welcoming and always there with a smile. Super helpful for someone who was 220 miles from home.

Cons:

Personal preference but the bed was way too soft for my liking.

If your train is cancelled...
Pros:

Friendly reception, convenient location though a little hard to find above and behind a gamers' bar, that I suppose used to be a pub.

Cons:

Room was hot and stuffy, and the corners and carpet wear really filthy, old, and in need of attention. Window did not open properly. Fan helped a bit once the reception managed to find one. Heating rack in bathroom permanently on even in 30º C weather, and lavatory right up against it so the risk of burns is high. Bed unsteady and variously hard and soft.

A great place to stay
Pros:

Location was perfect and within easy walking distance for work.

Cons:

Shower was a little too hot and was unable to adjust. (However i decided not call reception)
