Pros:

Lovely old hacienda turned beautiful hotel. Super location. Lovely staff. Comfy rooms and just beautiful.

Cons:

Thin doors to the patio, making any surrounding sounds from neighbours or people in the hall and music from lounge very easily heard in the rooms.

Excellent Hotel with loads of character
Pros:

This is an excellent hotel in a perfect location, just one block from Parque Calderon. We have stayed here several times, including on our honeymoon, and it will remain our go-to hotel in Cuenca. Such elegance and comfort that it is a step back in time to be in this colonial hotel. The choices for breakfast are uperb.

Every single staff member went above and beyond their expectations.
Pros:

The breakfast was filling, offering eggs, bacon or sausage, toast, fresh fruits, and yogurt. The location is unbeatable, with only a few minute walk you are in the mix of everything.

Cons:

It's extremely hard for me to sleep in complete silence. I wish a fan would have been made readily available.

Beautiful old mansion hotel with large rooms and antique furniture. Huge comfortable beds, good breakfasts, lovely atrium dining and lounge area, and exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. Close to the cathedral, churches, bars and restaurants

Cons:

There was nothing we didn't like, although as the hotel is in the Historic Centre, there is some traffic noise which quietens at night
