Pros:

Overpriced for a hotel in need of a renovation. I understand this is happening all across California, there is just no money for repairs. Staff was friendly.

Pros:

The fireplace was not working, some of the lights did not turn on, and there was a cocktail straw left on the floor from previous occupants.

Pros:

Our stay at The Westin Monache Resort in Mammoth was fantastic from start to finish. The hotel is in a prime location, just steps from the Village with its shops, dining, and gondola access, making it incredibly convenient whether you’re skiing in winter or hiking in summer.

Our suite was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, with a cozy fireplace and a well-equipped kitchenette — perfect for relaxing after a day outdoors. The bed was, as expected with Westin, heavenly.

We also loved the heated outdoor pool and hot tubs, which were especially nice with the mountain views. The on-site dining was excellent, and breakfast in particular was fresh and satisfying.

Staff were warm, welcoming, and professional, always ready to help with recommendations or logistics. Parking was easy, and the property felt well cared for throughout.

Pros:

This property is steps away from the village which is convenient to eating/drinking/shopping as well as central to transportation around the whole area. We were also very impressed with the dog friendliness of the hotel. Almost every time we got onto the the elevator, at least one dog was riding with us (not including ours).

Great Staff, Great Hotel, Pure Relaxation!
Pros:

The hotel staff were warm, welcoming, professional and efficient. The suite was beautiful with 270 degree views of mountains. The resort facilities were also fantastic for exercise and swimming.

I look forward to returning in Winter and experiencing the changes in the landscape and nature. I can't fault this hotel it was a joy to stay at and very relaxing with excellent underground parking included

Pros:

Hotel was in prime location. It was not as good as the amount of money we paid for two nights. There were too many pets all over the hotel rooms, barking and distressed. Presence of that many pets raises the question of cleanliness of the rooms. Staff was good and cooperative.
