Un ringraziamento di cuore va a: Gabriele (reception), Belen (pulizie), Paco e Dris (addetti al ristorante piscina e al bar serale), Carlos (cuoco del ristorante piscina), Ilario, Elba e Juan (addetti alla sala del ristorante serale), Augustin, Anna e Patricia (cuochi nella cucina a vista nel ristorante serale), senza di loro non sarebbe stato lo stesso e rivederli è stato confortante, questo perchè indipendentemente dalle stelle di un albergo, è il personale a rendere un soggiorno indimenticabile oppure un incubo, difatti ricordiamo ancora oggi con tanto affetto anche Jorge (al bar piscina), Tessa (reception), lo chef Jose e Jaun Jose (metre del ristorante serale) che putroppo non abbiamo ritrovato anche quest'anno.
Ringraziamo anche Marta (direttrice) e Julia (experience manager) per essersi rese disponibili nella risoluzione di alcune problematiche che si sono presentate.

E' il secondo anno che torniamo al Barcelò, proprio perchè il primo anno siamo stati così bene da decidere di tornarci. Quest'anno a differenza del primo, c'è stato qualche intoppo, non tutti attribuibili alla struttura, e con questo mi riferisco alla maleducazione dei turisti, ma la struttura può migliorarsi facendo rispettare le minime regole previste per il benessere di tutti: in piscina è vietato fumare sigarette e sigarette elettroniche, eppure i tre quarti giravano con questo maledetto microfono in ogni dove, in ogni luogo e soprattutto in piscina. Così come il fatto che fosse vietato occupare le sdraio per più di 30 minuti senza essere presenti o per altre coppie, sappiamo essere un comportamento usuale ovunque, ma se vengono fissate delle regole, chi è designato a farle rispettare, deve farlo senza indugiare, invece quest'anno è stata la normalità,. Anche per quanto riguarda il cibo, a differenza dello scorso anno ho avuto difficoltà, consiglio di ampliare l'offerta senza glutine e senza lattosio e di prevedere un'area dedicata, e magari di fare qualche salsa senza usare per forza il latte/ derivati, molto spesso nel buffet c'erano piatti che avrei potuto mangiare ma che non ho potuto perchè puntualmente c'era lattosio, inoltre non c'è nulla di più fastidioso (in vacanza) che dover decidere una sera per l'altra cosa voler mangiare (con una scelta molto ridotta per me) o appostarmi tutte le mattine per 3 settimane fuori dalla cucina aspettando che lo chef uscisse per poter chiedere la mia colazione, visto che in sala alle 7:30 non c'era mai alcun addetto al quale rivolgersi. Non abbiamo gradito il fatto che non sia stata preparata una box per la colazione del giorno di partenza, colazione naturalmente inclusa, il giorno 29 lo abbiamo chiesto e ci è stato risposto che non era prevista e che ci autorizzavano a prendere dal buffet del giorno e tenercelo per il giorno dopo, da un 4 stelle non me lo aspetto.

La comida, el precio para lo que ofrecen, y la poca visión de fidelizacion de clientes por parte de quien estaba de encargado/a de la administración de la recepción en ese momento. El día miércoles 12 de agosto por la mañana.
Me alojé una noche y les pregunté si podría dejar la habitación una hora más tarde y me iban a cobrar 25 € después de haber pagado más de 300€ por UNA
Noche! Y otra cosa que se me olvidaba, la noche anterior llamamos varias veces a recepción porque hacía mucho calor en la habitación ya que no funcionaba el aire correctamente y no hacían más que colgar el teléfono cada vez… terrible

Hotel correcto con una atención personal exquisita, pero que debe tener algunos arreglos

Definitivamente lo mas extraordinario del hotel es su personal, ENCANTADOR todos !!! desde recepción (sobre todo) hasta los meseros del desayuno ( solo fui régimen desayuno) , un 10 !!!! Otra cosa muy notable, la calidad del desayuno ME ENCANTO !

No me gustaron 3 cosas y creo que es fundamental:
1.- EL AIRE ACONDICIONADO en la habitación, pobre, muy pobre, y este punto en un clima como fuerteventura es de revisar, creo que es muy viejo requiere alguna reparación, solicitamos hasta 3 veces que lo revisaran, y no hubo manera de que se arreglara
2,. COBRAR POR UNA CAJA FUERTE, creo que hasta 3€ el día lo demás se explica solo.
3.- COBRAR HASTA 2€ para que te cambien la toalla de la piscina. y cuando nos lo llevábamos la playa no podíamos cambiarla... un Hotel de playa creo que no debe estar en ello.

Fantastic All-Inclusive Hotel
Pros:

Just returned from a fantastic holiday at the Barclelo Corralejo Bay. We were all-inclusive guests and would recommend other guests going all-inclusive. The breakfast service was the same every day but with so much to choose from - English breakfast items, yogurts, fruits, pastries, mimosas, all kinds of coffee and fresh juices etc. Lunch was served in the pool bar and you had a whole menu to choose from - I had the fantastic Caesar salad more or less every day but my partner had steak, a huge pizza, a delicious pork wrap - all amazing and included for all-inclusive guests. The pool bar served all kinds of drinks including frozen strawberry daiquiris and pina coladas, and branded ice creams and lollies. We were very impressed by the lobby bar which served all kinds of cocktails (including, without limitation, Aperol spritz, mai tai, Long Island) with name brand alcohol and were included in the all-inclusive. The dinner service changed daily and we particularly enjoyed the Italian night. The servers in the restaurant and the pool bar were so friendly. Everywhere was immaculate, the cleaners work tirelessly and the cleaner on our floor (third floor, block C) was especially lovely. There was daily evening entertainment which was usually a singer/band but there was also a flamenco show which was great. The hotel also put on other free activities for guests including a paint and sip class which was fantastic and a cocktail making class. I enjoyed partaking in the aqua gym. My only complaint was the blonde female aqua gym instructor was very rude on one occasion to a hotel guest participating and made it clear that her “paying clients” took precedence over hotel guests. She made the guest move to the back of the pool during the class to give her paying clients “more room” (which was not necessary), which resulted in the guest leaving the class. Extremely unprofessional and uncomfortable for everyone partaking, but especially for the poor guest. It wasn’t clear that the instructor was a third-party instructor with external clients and not a hotel-employed instructor. The other instructors who were employed by the hotel were fantastic - very welcoming and encouraging. Overall, one of the best all-inclusive hotels we have ever stayed at. We would highly recommend.
