This property needs a refresh.
Pros:

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Location is great.

Cons:

Rooms are dated. Running the microwave made the lights in the kitchen flicker. Caulking around the bathtub was cracked. The shower head was just awful. Furniture looked worn, and the fold out couch was insanely uncomfortable. There were no provided pillows for said pull out couch. Bathtub was reversed plumbed (cold is hot and hot is cold). The pool was freezing the first night we were there. This probably feels neglected.

Pros:

Wonderful facility and clean with a functional gym and a pool.

Cons:

Fridge makes a noise and neighbors door closing wakes others up. (you can hear neighbours)

Jaialdia. Experiencia inolvidable.
Pros:

Hotel a unos 2 km de Basque Block. Tiene piscina cubierta y parking por 5 dólares al día. Nuestra habitación con dos camas grandes (para 4) estaba muy bien, con cocina incluida. Buen hotel junto a la universidad.

Cons:

Un poco lejos del centro. El desayuno es continental más huevos revueltos, no hay embutidos.

Pros:

The location is great and the front desk staff was very nice.
The kitchen was kind of a joke... 2 forks, 4 spoons, kind of dirty.
There were 4 of us. There were no sheets/blankets for the pull-out couch and it was incredibly uncomfortable. We ordered a rollaway and there were sheets for that, but the thing was horribly noisy. We only had 3 towels and 2 hand towels.

Pros:

I stayed for work related travel in mid-June. This Towneplace Suites is very old, and it shows. WHile I expected the building and amenities to be a bit dated, I did not expect my room to be as dirty as it was. Nor did I expect the the HVAC to whir and groan all night. Breakfast was lacking, and there was a ceiling leak adjacent to the breakfast bar (and big bucket on the ground to catch water). I will never stay here again.

I should not have to pay $350 for one night in a room with no hot water. :)

We had no hot water during our entire stay! Discovered the issue at 1 am & called the front desk. When reporting the problem, the front desk clerk said “What do you want me to do about it. Flip on a switch?” 7 am that same morning, there was still no hot water. We then called the front desk again, and Darcy was very nice and called maintenance. Though, there was still no hot water at 11. When maintenance did come, it was while we were still fully checked into the room. Only accommodation was being able to shower in a different hotel room.

Great location, rooms and staff!
Pros:

Really pleased with the location - across the street from BSU and 10 minutes from Ann Morrison Park and the Boise Green Belt - also with the size of the rooms, and most of all with the staff. Everyone is so friendly and helpful, and truly seem to enjoy working here and with each other which says a lot about the management!

Close to campus but that’s about it
Pros:

Not sure who’s rating these hotels but this is definitely not 4 stars more like 2.5-3! Only 1 small bathroom mirror in the entire room - very hard to get ready when you have a couple of people staying in the room. Very outdated furniture and decor - kept running out of food at breakfast.
