15 minutes walk to Forest football ground

Cons:

We were told that one of our two rooms had a broken bed. We think that Ibis had actually double booked the room so Matt had to wait for over an hour to get a taxi to a different hotel. We couldn't even have a drink in the room together as he had to wait in the lobby for the world's slowest taxi!

Good location, but bad impression left by management's tightfistedness

Good location, friendly staff (our issues were not their fault). Nice to have water on offer in the lobby.

Cons:

We got off to a very bad start when we were told we could check in 2 hours early if we paid 20 pounds! The room was clearly ready, so the hotel was asking us to pay for something that cost it precisely nothing. Why would you want to create ill will rather than the good will you could create at absolutely no cost?! Even just saying that the room isn't ready but we can store your bags would have been better (at least our bags were stored for free). Being charged 2 pounds for bag storage on check out (even though we checked out an hour early) seemed a further unnecessary insult. Finally, a couple of biscuits in the room would have been a nice touch for little cost to you. We've enjoyed our stay in other ibis hotels, but shan't stay in this one again. The management seem utterly clueless about the hospitality industry.

Theatre visit
Pros:

Really good location. Room was clean and comfortable, room was quiet too, we heard no noise. Staff very friendly and helpful. Air con was lovely. Breakfast good choice .

Cons:

Nothing really... bathroom could have done with a fan... if there was one I couldn't see where to turn it on.. and it got a bit steamy in there.
