The location for me was good I wanted to be close to Creighton University. The staff were cordial. It's a little bit away from downtown. The breakfast was a typical American hotel spread pancakes,waffles,yogurt,cereal,eggs.
Full size frig and freezer
The room was somewhat worn. Hooks broken, carpet worn. I had the unfortunate dropping of my charger block and had to get it from under the bed. I would love for management to go look under some of the beds. My room was 701 go see what isn't cleaned under them. The bed felt like you were laying on three comforters on a mattress. We paid premium price for this room because it was graduation weekend. It definitely wasn't worth what we paid. The bathroom floor had not been cleaned well. I can overlook some things being a bit worn but the cleaning really sets the tone of how you feel when you stay somewhere!

Hotel is very convenient downtown. Parking was straightforward. Our guest room was very very nice. It seemed recently updated and was very clean. Lorenzo at the front desk was absolutely amazing. It’s a shame this only allows a review of up to 5 because I would give him a 10. He was very friendly, welcoming, kind and helpful. That was especially refreshing after a long day on the road. He also helped us round up supplies for a very early morning departure.

It was definitely old! Had a 2 bedroom suite. Queen room had mold in the AC unit, king room AC didn't work! Dishes were dirty from the last guest, a weird smell in the king bedroom! There was a lot that didn't make sense either. They gave us 3 bath towels for a 5 person stay, the couch was a two seater.. things like that.
The man who assisted us the evening we checked in was 100 percent perfect! I wish everyone was that nice and friendly. Unfortunately we had a room right next to the elevator and that kept us up all night. The bed was sloped not very comfortable. There was garbage under the sink on the kitchen area from who knows when. It was stinky. We just kept the door closed and checked out in the morning.

Lorenzo was an amazing front desk man! Super sweet and made my stay enjoyable and I felt safe.

I checked in with Stephanie and was given a warm welcome and a bag of goodie’s for being a Hilton Rewards Member. The room was clean and above my expectations for the price(the bed was super comfy). In the morning, the breakfast was tasty(there were eggs, oven baked potatoes, etc as well as oatmeal(it was ok) and cold cereals. My personal favorite was a mixture of the low-fat granola and Raisin Bran(it was Fire!!) I then talked to Rachel at the front desk about area attractions. She was also friendly and helpful and suggested the Henry Doorly Zoo, saying “You’ll spend hours there”(She was right!!)The next morning, I told Rachel how much I appreciated the customer service, loved the zoo, and asked about a day two attraction. Grace(one of the sales managers and also very friendly) suggested the Old Market Passageway, which is a quaint underground area with shops and a restaurant(something I would have never thought to explore but was cool). Then Rachel said the Durham Museum was good, too. I then left my bags behind the desk before I went out for my last day.
Once again, the customer service given by Stephanie, Rachel and Grace was excellent. I need to mention that in the morning on my first day, I had a problem getting my door closed and Rachel was on the spot, sending up a handyman right away and alerting housekeeping to make my bed. When I came back at night, both issues were solved!
The Homewood Inn is close to downtown Omaha and across from the Charles Schwab Stadium(Home of the College World Series). The public transportation is good in Omaha(especially if you’re on foot). Make the Homewood a priority for your next stay!

Down town Omahas was great had the 3 bed double room everything was clean and the staff was outstanding we will definitely stay again.
Tasty breakfast with tortillas & fillings!
Poorly functioning valve to push water from tub to shower, more than half the flow remained to the tub. Also, being on the top floor led to a very uninspiring shower...drip, drip, drip.
Having a kitchen area. Good breakfast.
