Pros:

最高までもう少し、ローアーマンハッタンだが、リバティ島フェリーやブルックリン橋はすぐ近くからバス１本、タイムズスクエアや五番街からも予想以上にアクセス良好、ただしJFKやLGAは少し時間かかる。部屋はとても良く、冷蔵庫、レンジ、コーヒーメーカー、バスタブ完備、すぐ近くに大型スーパー、反対側にもおしゃれなバーやダイナーがけっこうあるので不自由なし。フロントは常時ではないがいる。

Cons:

コーヒーメーカーの給水がけっこう汚れていた、アメリカ系にはよくあることだが、しっかり清掃して２回水を回してから使いました

Das Rooftop und die Aussicht meines Zimmers war perfekt. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Im Zimmer gab es eine Filterkaffeemaschine.

Cons:

Das Zimmer wurde nicht geputzt und die Handtücher musste ich selber wechseln sowie die Bettwäsche. Leider gab es kein Frühstück. War Airbnb und nicht wirklich ein Hotel wie ich es kenne. Es war für dies teuer.

Ellendig, nooit meer. Voor de prijs zijn er in de omgeving betere hotels.
Pros:

De locatie beviel nog het meeste van alles, met de metro makkelijk te verplaatsen.
Er was airco op de kamer want het werd best warm in de kleine kamers

Cons:

Er was niet of nauwelijks personeel. De handdoeken werden niet vervangen. Na meerdere malen vragen en niet te hebben ontvangen hebben we eigenhandig handdoeken uit de kelder gehaald om ons toch fris te kunnen afdrogen. De hygiëne van de badkamer was slecht. Het plafond viel van ellende op plekken naar beneden en veel roest in de douche cabine. Het beddengoed was niet schoon, veel haartjes in het bed. Bed was enorm hard en zeer oncomfortabel om op te liggen, zeer gehorig waardoor je ‘s nachts wakker werd van rijdende auto’s of pratende mensen op straat. Beperkte ruimte op de kamer je kan nergens anders zitten dan het bed of op een plastic stoel en je koffer open maken. Je dat kan je beter op de gang doen gezien de beperkte ruimte op de kamer.
2 ramen op de kamer waarvan 1 een rolgordijn had en de ander een rolgordijn en een gordijn waardoor er ook redelijk veel licht op de kamer kwam.

Awful but great staff!

The staff was amazing and very helpful!

Cons:

I think this hotel is falsely advertised on the internet! I have a couple things to complain about. At first the lock to our door wasn't working and it took two separate people and multiple trips to get us in. Then when we entered the room for 79 degrees! This room was advertised and in my room description said air conditioning. That was FALSE! It was a consistent 78 degrees in our room. We had multiple people come look at it and was told it would get better! We had no other fan and my request to change rooms was denied. Also the windows don't let in ANY air. We had the windows open the entire time to let in the 30-50 degree outside weather in and it didn't happen. Me and my travel companion did not sleep very well due to the heat. We were also miserable showering knowing that we weren't going to be able to handle the heat of the shower and the room. The only saving grace of The Ridge was the staff! They were prompt and extremely nice to us. We were able to hold our luggage while we went and explored. I will be writing a review of this place and will advise people NOT to stay here. The employees are the only saving grace here.

The location was great, close to the subway and restaurants and stores

Cons:

The area was a little louder than we were expecting but we were there at Patrick’s weekend so we shouldn’t have been to surprised people wanted to be out enjoying themselves! We had a room that faced the main road so it got loud during the day but did quite down at night!
