Mostly good with one or two exceptions
Pros:

Most importantly the location, right by the city centre tram station. The bedroom was very comfortable with a super shower. The breakfast was excellent and varied although no fresh fruit available.

Cons:

We had a problem with a label stuck to an apple in the fruit salad, so not properly washed but we did get a bit off the bill! My main gripe is the expensive car park. Also the dinner is overpriced, but not surprising. The Novotel should not become complacent with good reviews, as generally it is a very nice hotel. We didn't use the pool, I was put off by comments of small and not private changing facilities. My wife, Scottish educated, was very disappointed with the breakfast 'tatty scones' which should be cooked on a bakestone or dry frying pan, not deep fried!

Merveilleux !
Pros:

TOUT !! Cet hôtel est incroyable. Le fait que ce soit ex-centré n’est pas dérangeant du tout car le Tram s’arrête aux pieds de l’établissement. Il y a un supermarché en face. La gare à côté.
Le CONFORT, le lit est incroyable, la chambre est grande. Télé possibilité de chromecast. La salle de bain parfaite avec baignoire.
Le SPA et la salle de sport sont agréables.
Et le personnel est tellement accueillant et souriant, que c’est un plaisir !!
Les chambres sont extrêmement bien isolées, on entend rien du tout.

Pros:

- Staff(especially Alexandru from the reception) is very helpfull;
- Good breakfast;
- Good beds;
- Nice facilities;
- Very close to supermarkets(Tesco, Home bargain, Aldi);
- Very close to the tram, bus and train station.

Cons:

- Some facilities need to be refurbished
- Not in the city, but the tram solves this inconvenient

Very unhappy customer
Pros:

Location and facilities

Cons:

A much smaller room, no water in the room. Fridge not working. All for an extra £200 more than the previous week. I think I may need to look or another hotel as the cost is far to high. The week before I paid £500 and for the same period of stay the following week over £700 how can that be. It's a disgrace.
