Better value than the rest, but still expensive
Pros:

Clean hotel with swimming pool and sport facility

Cons:

expensive breakfast, it should be included in the room booking for such a high price.
The location is okay-ish.

Pros:

Spacious room, comfortable bed and excellent top class breakfast

Cons:

The toilet flush is too weak! It needs to be adjusted to a normal flushing strength as Scotland has no shortage of water. This is a major problem that needs fixing.

Super clean, quiet & spacious room with great beds. Top location and warm staff!
Pros:

Room was super clean, quiet and spacious with very comfortable beds. One of the very hotels that have firm mattresses which is good for your back. Walking distance to tram stop & grocery stores. Valentin at the reception is an exceptional guy - such warm hospitality and took great care of our needs during our stay.

Cons:

Hard to find faults!

Friendly, well-located place with a brilliant breakfast. Ideal as a base for a family or group.
Pros:

Very handy location on the tram between airport and city. Breakfast was outstanding, easily the best I've ever had in this type of hotel/price range. Staff were very friendly and accommodating, let the kids go in the pool while we waited for check-in time etc.

Cons:

Expensive enough for a functional mid-range option next to a retail park.

Great for a short break to visit Edinburgh
Pros:

Great location for the tram. Staff were excellent and very helpful. Beds were very comfy.

Cons:

More plugs both side of bed. Bathroom sink and tap were odd and not easy to use. Prefer a walk in shower rather than a bath.

NO - votel
Pros:

Location was fine and reception staff (girl from Iraq was the highlight)

Cons:

Food was awful lunch, dinner and breakfast, had to send back the dinner (philliy cheese steak- terrible taste and smell,
Burger, my wife didnt finish and we didn't finish the breakfast, taste was non existent, quality was terrible, even the banana was old and dry

Lunch - chicken caesar salad, far too much sauce, chicken not fresh

No bottled water in the room
Trains and trams by the room all day

Pool area
Jacuzzi was broken
Sauna takes ages to heat up and not warm either time we were in, there is a timer but if nobody has switched it on then it's cold and you have to wait for it to heat up
Steam room ok but not hot enough
Poolside shower broken
Lights in Pool loose
Pool was freezing

Also, I realise the hotel probably has seasonal staff but they all looked miserable with zero chat

The girl from Iraq on reception was the only good thing, very helpful and generous
