We were unable to stay at this hotel and checked out without staying. We booked a suite but were shown to a dated shabby dark bedroom in the roof space. The owner was very apologetic and acknowledged the suite was not as pictured and thankfully cancelled our booking with no charge. We had to find somewhere else at short notice (thankfully there was a Hilton close-by) and amazingly I could see from the Booking.com website our suite being advertised again with very misleading photos - absolutely terrible.

The bedroom was lovely and we all had a good sleep, it was ideal for what we wanted.
The weather (which I appreciate can't be affected by the hotel) was crazy hot and our bedroom was way too hot, with only one fan and we were unable to open the window (which was broken).

Couldn’t open windows in the room
I stayed there between 14th to 16th July 2026.
1. The manager Hubet was rude. He was irritable when we asked questions about breakfast.
He was very keen to collect only money .
He didn't bother about changing the room despite I told him to change it on the second day .
He didn't encouraged us to watch TV in the bar , very rude .
2. I was given a very dirty and a very small room although I paid £ 232 for two nights.
3. Cob webs and spiders in the bathroom and in the ceiling of the room.
4. The bathroom sink was not cleaned , stained.
5 . windows couldn't be open despite it was a very hot day
6. The picture in booking.com didn't reflect the true size and the cleanliness of the room .
7. I was told by the staff Rachel that she will discuss with another manager and refund the money , but I haven't received any money back from them . Very disappointed
8. The hotel should be removed from the booking. Com website.
9. The hotel is far away from town , shouldn't be thos priced anyway

No AC but it's an older building - fan in the room

Be aware cheaper rooms may be up several flights of stairs

The breakfast was very good & plenty of it. The staff couldn't do enough to help.
It has been exceptional weather, over 30 C. & sleeping has been difficult.
