Hard beds, small parking spaces, close to attractions, budget friendly
Pros:

Location is good. Overall clean.

Cons:

Pool is very cold. No microwave in room. Smelled of smoke even in non-smoking room. Beds are hard and wake up sore. Parking slots are narrow. Takes awhile to get warm water for shower. Heard gun shots outside in the evening.

The staff were all rude from the time I first checked in ,until I checked out . If I would be outside I would get asked proof of me being. Got asked for the key.

I think the facilities and comfort were ok for the price

Cons:

One particular staff member was extremely unfriendly and unhelpful. They were not being clear and when I asked follow up questions they continuously passive aggressively said ‘maybe I’m not speaking clearly enough’, and when I called after our stay, this person aggressively hung up on me when I needed help.

Excellent stay for a week at Dunes Inn
Pros:

You get what you pay for. For the price, the hotel provide excellent location, basic accommodation, nice clean and large rooms with two queen beds. if you are looking for fancy amenities and luxury , look elsewhere but otherwise this can be an excellent base to travel around LA. A big plus is the secure parking. surrounding area is nice and quiet.

Cons:

bathroom is a bit dated and shows the age but not a major issue.

Great for a night or two.
Pros:

I like the location, very clean and spacious. Amenities in the bathrooms.

Cons:

Hôtel bien situé dans LA avec accueil chaleureux
Pros:

Hôtel très bien placé : vous pourrez vous promenez à pied dans un des plus beaux quartiers (s Lucerne boulevard par ex)
Santa Monica = 20 min en voiture
Hollywood boulevard = 15 minutes
Universal =25 minutes

L’accueil est très sympathique, toujours à disposition, les chambres sont très propres et le parking est un vrai plus!!!
La piscine également!

Cons:

Attention les chambres côté boulevard sont bruyantes : circulation intense toute la nuit. Cependant dès le lendemain, l’hôtel nous a changé de chambre sans souci
Si vous venez en saison chaude, le système de climatisation est extrêmement bruyant… donc hôtel à éviter par fortes chaleurs c’est le seul frein …

Brilliant stay and in a wonderful location to get amongst the city!
Pros:

Hotel was in a perfect area with nice and easy parking facilities. When checking in the staff were friendly and helpful which made us feel welcomed. Room was nice and cleanand bonus points for having a pool!

Cons:

Walls were pretty thin, so if there was any noise at all (either from other rooms or downt he hallway) you could hear what was going on. Not too much of a big deal, but it did cause me to wake up a couple of times throughout the night.

Great value, good location, free parking, better than expected.
Pros:

Great location, the garage is a bit of a squeeze to navigate, but it's in a really convenient spot and easy to take in and out. We were also able to walk to ktown midday, though it is a bit of a trek. Really convenient facilities, nice layout, and staff at the front desk were really helpful. TV in room connected easy and didn't require us to bring a wire or something. Pool looked so cute, but we didn't have time to use it.

Pros:

The overall experience exceeded my expectations, and I was very pleased with my stay. The only minor drawback was the parking situation, which is often a challenge in Los Angeles.

Cons:

The parking spaces were notably compact. Maneuvering my truck presented a significant challenge when attempting to park.

Did what it said on the tin!!
Pros:

I had room 320, the only issues I had were that the AC unit was very noisy, it was a very hot night. But given that I still managed a good 6.5-7 hour sleep, that, for me was, marvellous. The only other slight quibble was that you use bars of soap; these dry out my skin, I'd prefer a gel, but that's just me. Thank you.
The location was excellent because I was there for business at the new Archdiocese of LA centre straight across the road at 4311 !

Cons:

Coffee/tea making kit in each room.

Ottima soluzione qualità/prezzo in buona posizione a Los Angeles
Pros:

Tornato per il secondo anno consecutivo, è un'ottima soluzione per Los Angeles, nelle immediate vicinanze del quartiere coreano. A soli 10 minuti di auto da Hollywood e a mezz'ora - traffico permettendo - da Santa Monica. Il parcheggio coperto e la tranquillità della zona (niente homeless o rumori molesti la notte) la rendono un'ottima struttura, dal rapporto qualità prezzo eccezionale per essere in una posizione così strategica.

Cons:

Classico motel americano, non bisogna avere le pretese di un albergo. L'aria condizionata era un po' datata e rumorosa, la pulizia della stanza accettabile. Tuttavia, compromessi accettabilissimi vista la posizione, il prezzo e la tranquillità della zona.
