Good location, pleasant hotel to stay, friendly staff
N/A
Great location, fantastic view from the balcony, nice big room. Lovely breakfast buffet. Warm swimming pool indoors
Decor was very outdated. Outdoor pool wasn't useable. No entertainment in evenings. Could do with a lick of paint and some new carpets for modernization
The location
It was very tired and run down. The outdoor swimming pool was covered over and the outside seating areas were shabby and lacked any care and attention. The bar staff were very lacking in their knowledge of drinks, customer service etc. not the fault of the young staff… lack of proper training…
The bedroom whilst very large, was very tired not very clean, odd items furniture.. the bathroom was dirty, although the sink was clean, loo seat did not fit the loo…. You could only have both bedside lights on or none as off same switch… an upgrade was offered at an additional £100 a night! The indoor pool areas were tired, not particularly clean either… the doors to the outside were not opened which with the hot summer we’ve had was very shortsighted…
The view the breakfast the location
Room 26 was large and good view comfortable bed but the noise from the fan underneath the room spoiled the experience

I have been staying at the imperial for over 20 years and every year has been awesome apart from I first got to the reception the new lady tried to charge me again even though I had paid on booking .com
I said we had already paid
And also when we was checking out she did it Again tried to charge me again Even though I had paid months before
I was very upset as people looking at me as if I was bad person
I felt so bad I would never book with the imperial again after feeling like that
Sorry before all the other years were perfect
Breakfast was very good
Closed the bar early on a Saturday night despite lots of people in the bar
The location is fantastic, the rooms and the hotel are very clean and beautiful, and the breakfast and dinner quality is phenomenal.
The staff are also very friendly. Benjamin and Igor, especially, were exceptionally friendly and helpful, and contributed very strongly towards the very positive experience we had at the hotel.
Restaurant was good with a lovely view.
The chef managed our food intolerance well, which we really appreciated.
Room was tired and needed updating to fall in line with other rooms.

Helpful staff.
Clear and tidy.
Swimming pool.
No air con in the rooms only in the public areas. We did stay in a heat wave so air con would have been much appreciated.
£10 per day parking fee.
