The spa, was amazing! Lovely staff and very clean.
The tv didn’t work and didn’t allow us to connect to our phones to screen mirror.
Pool, apart from jacuzzi made for one person
Pool opens late at 6.30am
Staff wonderful especially Abby and Liam.
Extortionate prices in reception for snacks. It smacked of taking advantage of a captive audience, insult to guests intelligence.😡
Building is lovely
Nill
No food menu was for event So ordered food from the takeaway, as did 200 other guests .Takeaway driver said they had delivered 200 meals
So at least 3000 idiot ideas not to have food on.Congrats to thought that up
The property was beautiful
The hotel room was spacious and well equipped for our short stay.
However, it was uncomfortably hot. Although two fans were provided, they were too noisy to use overnight, which affected our sleep.
Breakfast was mediocre, with no marmalade available for toast. On the second morning, I requested poached eggs, which were overcooked. The waitress kindly arranged replacements, but after a 20-minute wait these were also overcooked, which was disappointing for a four-star hotel.
The cappuccino was also very bitter and not enjoyable.
Overall, while the room itself was comfortable in size and facilities, the issues with temperature control and the quality of breakfast and drinks meant our stay was less enjoyable than expected.
Very welcoming staff making you feel like you mattered.
Website menu needs updating. Wanted food at 4 pm and had to use Triumph Bar. The room menu offered various meals including fish and chips, but the staff told us we were unable to have this and could only order off Triumph menu.
All was absolutely good
Clean, pleasant staff and helpful. Swimming pool was lovely
No drinking water in the rooms in the heatwave and the fan was old and too noisy to put on during sleep.
