Very good welcoming staff including receptionist, breakfast staff, cleaner.
Come every year. This is our 3rd time.
Will go again.
It was a good location for us.
The car parking is bit of a hike from reception and on a rainy day really inconvenient. Some people didn't care and parked their cars in disabled spots at the door which the management didn't address which was disappointing given we had a disabled person visiting us and they had no where to park. The hotel itself is huge with a primary focus on events so if you're not attending an event be prepared to feel like you're attending a party that you weren't invited to.
We had an issue with our shower flooding the bathroom. We reported it but it was not resolved at all, nor were we offered a room move.
Excellent staff
Very large and tatty in parts
We are regular visitors at this hotel normally very happy
We upgraded our room this time as it was valentines weekend and had a bigger bed we was very disappointed to find the heating didn’t work great and was freezing we asked for a blow heater or for someone to come and take a look by the time we got back to our room a mobile radiator was put into our room we had it on high and was still cold we slept in our clothes also we found breakfast was very bland and tasteless we left it went to check out and left
Love Hinckley island fave of mine defo great value for money
Could do with a refurbishment just due to age
Comfortable large room. Good breakfast
Excellent value for money. Large rooms and very comfortable
Breakfast expensive ( didn’t bother ) £25
Very lovely and the people was so nice and kind
It was jsut far out little bit
Staff were helpful and the room size was good
The heating in the room didn't work, neither did the extractor fan in the bathroom. The condensation on the windows in the morning was so bad that the water stuck the curtains to the windows and was dripping. We complained to management and no follow up was made.
This is a lovely Hotel I've stayed at Hinckley Island several times it's a great location just off the M69 junction 1 the staff were very helpful and extremely polite will be coming back that's for sure as I use the venue for business trips I highly recommend this hotel and give my personal rating of 5 stars I'm sure you would agree if you need somewhere to stay....
There was nothing at all I didn't like...
